Right now, she has 5 #1 albums. If she releases a couple more good albums, she might surpass Barbra Streisand as the female with the most #1 albums. Plus she has 10 #1 singles.
She's probably in 4th place behind Mariah, Madonna and Whitney. If she continues this, she might surpass them as the most #1 hits by a female artist. I feel that she can do it. What do you think?

I Agreee :) Janet also is the only artist to have 5 back to back #1 studio albums. "Control," (#1 for 2 weeks), "Rhythm Nation 1814," (#1 for 4 weeks), "Janet.," (#1 for 6 weeks), "The Velvet Rope," (#1 for 1 week) and "All FOr You" (#1 for 1 week). Whitney Houston has 11 #1 singles, Madonna has 12 #1 singles, Mariah Carey has 15 #1 singles. Janet will be passing Madonna and Whitney soon!

Well Jan still has another good album left in her i think.

Madonna is getting REALLY old (she was old 10 years ago),

whitney's voice sucks now (did anybody see the BET awards?),

Mariah isn't doin to well with her new song (not even in top 50!), so

I think Miss Janet has the best shot. Plus she's just finer then the rest of them.

she sure does seem to be getting bigger and bigger (not physically) lol. anyways, who knows it could happen BTW how many #1 albums does barbra have? she stinks. lol. anyways also i think shell definately surpass madonna and whitney, i dont think whitney will have another #1 and madonna might but who knows. mariah will definately have more #1s, shell surpass the beatles for sure. i know it. lol.

I don't think it's right to compare Janet and Madonna..they are in two different leagues but they are both divas! Whitney has been behind Janet the whole time..she's nothing compared to her! Now..don't get me wrong..I love Whitney..her voice is so beautiful but she will never be up there w/ Janet!:)

I think Barbra has 7 #1 albums! If Janet continues this, I think she can surpass Barbra! She can surpass Whitney and Madonna. I don't think Mariah will have anymore #1 hits nor surpass Elvis or the Beatles.
