O/T Board for aspiring singers w/mp3s* and other sound files :)

Hey everyone , I hope you guys don't mind that I post this here. :) I wanted to spread this around to get people to sign an idea of mine.
Please read, this is the letter I put in the suggestionh board:Hi all the moderators and the webmaster and all the LD members,
I came across the fact that a lot of people here have the great dream of singing. Well, Martin, bringing up the idea of remixes gave me the idea of a possible board where aspiring singers, or people who love to sing can post mp3s or any other type of sound with their voice on it( singing wise of course). Also, people can visit those boards. Who knows, with the growing popularity of Internet thses days, a big record dealer can show up here and stumble onto the board and a young singer's dream can come true.

Please think about this suggestion: A board for aspirng singers.
Also, they caN share their thoughts there.

A spammer is someone who posts an identical thread in numerous forums!!! We've had about 15 since this board was made....

I actually spammed once but I learned my lesson and I apologized..unlike most of the other spammers!:)

well this isnt to "spam" this is to try to make a petition for a much needed forum...

Doesn't matter..it's still considered spamming! I posted a link to the board suggestion forum to get people to request a Janet forum and I almost costed us our forum! Richard and Nik were very upset w/ me (along w/ MANY other mods) and I almost got banned...well actually I did get banned...but anyway! It doesnt' matter what the cause....it's still spamming!

that's ridicilous, to increase the chances of getting your suggestion approved, you need to make apetition. this is the only way, this is not bad in any way

That may be the way you feel but it's not the rules! You remember when you first registered...there was this screen that stated all the rules and there is this little section that stated a little something about spaming and by clicking "I Accept"..which means you read and understood the rules (And I know for a fact you did so or else you wouldn't be a member) you agreed to not do anythign that the rules said not to! It may be ridiculous...if you have a prob w/ it...pm a mod or the administrator Richard!

other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
i. disrupt the normal flow of dialogue or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to
engage in exchanges of Content;
j. interfere with or disrupt the Message Board or servers or networks connected to the Message Board, or
disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Message Board;
k. intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, including, but
not limited to, regulations promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, any rules of any
national or other securities exchange, including, without limitation, the New York Stock Exchange, the American
Stock Exchange or the NASDAQ, and any regulations having the force of law;
l. "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or
m. collect or store personal data about other users.

There ya go...see spamming is also a form of advertising and you jsut can't do that here....but you could put a little something about whatever you're supporting in your sig and put a link to the board suggestions forum but you can't just go into a bunch of different forums and post the same exact thing....it gets old! Trust me!
