9:15 A.M. PST / Don Newton has just called in to let us know what he has seen the past two days in Vancouver. While standing outside of the GM Place Arena on Wednesday, Janet's dancer and choreographer Shawnette Heard came outside to tell all of them that they should come back tomorrow for a "special surprise". The next day when Don and his friends came back they found out that a radio station was having a contest and the winners would get to go inside and watch the rehearsals! Unfortunately, Don did not win, however he did hear some of the songs being rehearsed from outside of the arena throughout the day. The songs that were rehearsed are [in no particular order]:
Would You Mind, All For You, Doesn't Really Matter, Trust A Try, Son Of A Gun, Come On Get Up, Come Back To Me / Let's Wait Awhile / Again (medley), Rhythm Nation, That's The Way Love Goes, Alright, Runaway / Escapade / Miss You Much / When I Think Of You (medley), What Have You Done For Me Lately, If
Don also saw some of the props being delivered to the GM Place on Thursday afternoon. He saw four big metal objects with seats on them that he assumed would get lowered from the ceiling as people sit on them. They were shaped as a heart, a clover, a diamond, and a spade.
