Taken from the Janet Discussion:
Hey everyone. I'm usually a silent member of this board, but after seeing Janet this week in both Portland and Seattle this weekend I had to write and give you all who still have yet to attend the show some tips. Hopefully they will be of some use.
Tip #1: If you currently have tickets and are hoping to get them upgraded to better seats by someone from Janet's crew, I wish you much luck because it is going to take a miracle. If these first two shows are any indication of how it will be during the entire tour, from what I understand they weren't ANY exchanges. The only way to get the seats in the fronts rows would be to get your tickets through Miss Janet or trying ticketmaster just a few hours before the show because that is when they go on sale.
Tip #2: If your wanting to buy any souvenirs be sure you bring some major $$$ with you. The tourbook alone is $25.00. None of the T-Shirts cost under $30.00. Then they had this sweatshirt type thing that was $75.00.
Tip #3: Even though the venue says they are not allowed, sneak a camera in anyway. Seeing Janet in that black leather catsuit during "Would You Mind" and shorts during "If" is worth the risk of getting caught.
Tip #4: If you are somehow not able to see the show don't worry because according to Gil the show will be BROADCASTED LIVE from Hawaii on Feb. 14th which happens to be Valentines Day on HBO.
Tip #5: HAVE FUN!!!!
That's about it.........I hope all of you have great stories to tell about your concert experiences.
