Anyone know where I can read the new Teen People with Jessica on the cover, online? I saw a preview on Access Hollywood Friday, they made her lose weight to compeate with Britney and Christina.

She did the Atkins diet, and worked out at the gym with her Mom, I think she said somewhere else she did kickboxing. Don't go overboard on any diet though, remember everyone has diffrent body types and what one girls size is doesn't mean you should be the same thing. And muscle weighs more than fat. OK lol sorry I just don't want people going to extemes trying to look like their fav stars.

I liked the article- I think most of us fans understand what she and other stars went through, but I don't think everyone did. I'm sure it opened their eyes as to what happens behind the scenes.

ya in the article she said she sometimes felt like she was pregnant cuz she eats so much and stuff then after it said she was a size 2!!! what......i think she was fine before, but now it seems like she is heathlier with eating and exercizin and stuff so thats good

Well, that was the only thing really wrong with that article - Jessica IS NOT a size two because I'm a size two and that girl is definitly bigger than I am. Heck, Christina is a size two, and you can tell by looking at her and Jessica that Jessica's waist, let alone hips, aren't that small. And if she went from a size 6 to a 2 in between the time of the American Music awards and when she made Irresistable, then there's something really wrong with what she's doing. But I still don't believe she's a size two.

No, I guess she couldn't, cause she's bigger. If she was the same size as Christina, then everyone would be jumping all over her for losing to much weight, like they jump all over Christina for being naturally skinny. That would probably slam her into depression or something... :(

That entire article just disgusted me, when you want to better yourself, it should be for you. the article did say that Tommy Matola asked her to lose weight. I just don't feel this new sexed up image, and her trying to dance, and singing songs that don't show her vocal ability is her being true to herself. Talented as she is, she will never be what CA and brit are, They came out at the right time, when people were looking for female alternatives to the guy groups. This is just my opinion, but I really feel the Nick breakup was for people to think she was more accessible not because something went wrong in their relationship. I have never been a big JS fan, but the article did not make like her more either. the conclusion I came to, was that she had done all this work on herself, just to sell more records, and compete with BS and CA. but in her defense, I know that it was the record company making her do all this, but the sad thing is, I don't think it's working, do you?

It's not working people can see through the fact she's not comfortable, I would feel bad for her IF she wasn't always trying to raise her own self esteem by subtly putting others down. If her bigest concern is winning a stupid award (materialistic) and how she looks in pictures maybe she should become a model. Not every talented singer goes into the big time because they KNOW that it's more of a business than a talent driven feild. She's not doing what SHE wants to do, so I don't see how she can say she's really grown up. Everyone needs to give up a lil control in order to gain some, but this is her second album it seems as though she's being pushed in every direction. I remember her saying that when she didn't make the MMC she wanted to give up but her parents pushed her...maybe she isn't built for this buiness. It takes a strong person as well as someone who's talented smart and good lucking to surrvive in this business, and if she lets Tommy Mattola and her Dad tell her what to do she'll never change. Look at Madonna, Janet, and other artist who took control and become icons. Closest I see to that is Britney Spears, she knows what she wants and has the *right* people behind her, maybe she doesn't have the voice but she's got undeniable talent like Madonna and Janet and if she continues doing what she's doing she'll be here for a long time to come.

Jessica should take a break and find out who she is with out everyone else telling her.

Okay, I can't I really can't feel sorry for Jessica. I read the article and everything and what it did was make me love Mandy Moore. Yes, in life we will be compare if it's not to are sisters and brothers it could be to our friends that something that will never change. Jessica has some serious issues here and they are not being direct at all. When she said that she was upset that she lost the award for AMA and she was a loser. Did you know that lots of people don't get awards until half way in there career. Look at Santana he was overlook like crazy and he finally gets the respect that he desrves. Did he say he was a loser no he went back to the studio and work his but off. I am so sick and tired of people "watching music" instead of " listening to music" and that's what Jessica is doing instead of dealing with the vocal she is more worried about what she looks like.

Also, they told her she had to dance. Mandy isn't dancing. I find it intersting that you can't say the B or C word at all around her because she gets tired of it. Wonder how Mandy feels I guess her issue will be coming out soon.

I am sorry if I come out negative but I had some things to get off my chest and thanks for listening.

First off i like Christina but i DO not beleive shes a size 2 she looks smaller than that even a article said they had to take in a size 2 dress she was gonna wear...I think its a shame that Jessica had to loose weight yeah going tot he gym is great for all over physical health but the Atkins diet is awful i know someone that was on it and she got really sick. So she had to quit it. I think it good that Jessica shares her insecuites hey shes says it like it is...I don't care for Tommy M at all. I think its important to be who you are and not change thats what makes you different from the others ;) I mean i don't consider Christina anything like Britney. Britney is more madonna-ish
I do beleive Jessica is now i size 2 cuz my sister in law is the same size and they look pretty much the same size and rememeber some people photograph bigger. I think Chritinas people try and convince the public shes a size 2 cuz they don't want girls thowing up etc......but i don't think she is. Not dissing her or anything she is obviously very small boned you can tell just by her shoulder width. anyways just my thoughts :)

Please don't even say this cause it's not true. You can't compare her to Madonna! Madonna was a smart, talented, business woman. Three things many people think Britney lacks. And that "undeniable" talent thing. Go check some of these boards. People have no problem denying her talent. And watch Vh1, Cyndi Lauper made a great quote.
