All you need is a psycho mom who propells you to where he is walking, approaches him and asks really, really, nice if he could wish her daughter a happy birthday. He leaned over to me and asked her name, shook her hand and proceeded to kiss her. What a great night for the entire board; the man was in the crowd the WHOLE night. Almost every dedicated board member there has a story to tell tonight. If I didn't love Bruce for his generosity toward his fans, I would after witnessing this evening.

Okay, that post was a bit of babble, but geez, even though he kissed ESG, I got to touch his shouldar when he leaned over to me to ask her name and I can't be expected to be coherent after that.

He was walking around the back of the outdoor area and no one was paying any attention to him. ESG and I went for it without even thinking and after he heard it was her birthday and she was a huge fan, he shook her hand and then leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. WOW!!!

WOW a kiss! Thats better than my story. I was at the Pony listening to Nils sound check. There were a lot of people there so I debated with one of my friends whether we should go back to CW Festival. We were meeting friends there so we decided to go back to the Festival. We get there and I don't see her so I call her at home. To make a long story short I thought she was meeting down in Asbury. Wrong! She was pretty mad. As we were leaving the festival one of the volunteers said you know Bruce is still here. I almost died! I begged him to tell me if he were joking. We go back and sure enough there he was standing like 10 feet away. As he was leaving he was shaking peoples hands so I went up to him but he turned so I touched his bicep. WOW he is solid!! He must be working out for the next tour!!! Later it was off to the Pony. God what a night! Only thing is now my friend is really going to kill me!

OK Let's see... Details...

Welllllll to be honest, I don't remember much!!! It's all pretty much a blur to me. (And it's NOT because of any colored liquids that I was drinking--although they were flowing pretty freely that night!!!)

Well, I do remember EstreetGirl's boyfriend tapping me on the shoulder and pointing... I looked, and there was Bruce walking by about 50 feet away... and nobody really seemed to have noticed him yet. (How could they not???) So without even thinking twice, off I went with Mom right behind me. Well, when I got close I panic-ed and stopped but Mom was right behind me pushing me...

And after that, well I'm not really sure exactly what happened. I remember Mom apologizing to Bruce and telling him it was my birthday and him saying "OH REALLY?????!!!!!" So cute. I remember shaking his hand and him leaning in towards me and me thinking OH MY GOD HES GOING TO KISS ME!!!!!!!!!!! But to be honest, I think that is where I blacked out. Yes, the coolest thing that ever happened to me (besides Atlanta of course IF) and I CANT REMEMBER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness there were so many witnesses!

The next thing I remember is walking back and shhhhushing my Mom for no apparent reason, and tears running down my face. And of course my boyfriend taking all the credit because he was the one who pointed Bruce out! :D

Now, if I had been of sane mind, I might've asked Bruce for a picture, being as I HAD A CAMERA RIGHT IN MY POCKETBOOK AND THERE WAS NOBODY AROUND!!! Not too smart.

they actually have a name for that syndrome. i think it's called "brucestupidity". you meet the guy and go completely numb and blank like a robotron, only to awaken later and find that it all happened..it wasn't a dream and damn you don't remember any of it. happens to all of us. it gets only a little easier as you get more experienced at it.

Dari, that's exactly what it was like... I was a complete idiot for about 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!

Do the symptoms of this Bruce-stupidity consist of the munchies? I came home later that night and ate everything in sight. Mashed potatos, a slice of pizza, chips and dip and a piece of cake. It was ridiculous!!!
