It was the scariest thing I saw in my life. The plane was way too close and I told my boss that. And immediately I saw the smoke. NYC is crazy right now, there are car accidents everywhere you look. People are rushing home and my friends mom works a block away! This world is going to end. :( These terrorists have no hearts.

This is horrible. All the schools and most of the office buildings here are closed or closing. There's cars all over the place because there was a plane that crashed into the Pentagon. Bridges are closed its horrible.

This is horrible... I can imagine how you must be feeling, Lauren. The feeling of watching an airplane crash in one of those towers, plain horror!

I am very sad, and kinda afraid. Here in Puerto Rico they evacuated all federal buildings and some government buldings. Roosvelt Roads (the biggest U.S. Navy base) here received missile attack threats, but nothing really happened, thanks the maker. I got off from college today.

I am sooooo sad, and worried. I have 2 friends in University of Manhattan. I talked to their mom earlier today and she told me they were all right. I'm still trying to call them but phone lines are occupied up there in NY. It's understandable, and at least I know they are all right. My friend Raisa was in the subway when the first airplane crashed and they stopped the subway and took everybody out and explained the passangers the situation. The mother of my 2 friends told me they are horrified, but they are back in campus in the residency and at least they are all right. But I sooo wanna talk to them and make sure they are all right by myself. I wanna confort them and make them feel good. I also have a few relatives in Manhattan and we haven't heard anything from them... :( Today is a horrible day for the planet.

It was so frightening just watchin' it on television, but you were there...*big hug* to you, Lauren. I thought about you when the news broke earlier this mornin' and I'm so relieved to hear that you're safe. That's terrible that you had to experience that horrific sight, but we're all very happy that you're okay. Take care!

My friend hasn't found her mom yet. She's hysterical. I spent all afternoon picking people up and driving them home with my sister. They had to walk about 300 blocks to get home since there wasn't any trains. I helped about 15 people get home. Please pray for my friends mom, guys. :(

I'm so scared right now. I'm literally shaking. My prayers go out to everyone & their loved ones who are directly affected by this.

The only thing I can say now is PRAY. We should never take our life, God (if you're a Christian), & you're loved ones for granted. Pray for Bush & the people who are working w/ him. And just yesterday I was angry about a stupid grade that I got, not thinking what would happen the next day. I prayed yesterday not expecting what happened today. This is so surreal. I told my parents I love them yesterday not expecting what would happen today.

Always thank God for your blessings & while you're here try to get your life right w/ HIM. I, being a Christian, believe that God is the only person in complete control. I'm not trying to force my beliefs on any one else, but this is what I believe. To Non-Christians: If you don't believe in God, open your mind & talk to somebody who does. HE is a wonderful person. HE gave you & me life.

I know sometimes Christians, including me sometimes stumble & sin in our walk w/ Christ & sometimes take HIM for granted. We, human beings, are not perfect. I know I said some things in the past days that were not kind. But God is merciful person, HE is a forgiving person. And when I ask for forgiveness, HE forgives me. Now that is love!! HE'S not a person of hate. But sometimes HE let things happen so we can learn form them & become closer to HIM. HE died on the cross for EVERY HUMAN BEING sins. Just take the time to truly give HIM thank because tomorrow is not promised to us.

EDIT: This is my personal opinion. I'm not speaking for every Christian. I'm in no trying to force my opinions on you.[/b]

I'll keep your friend's mom in my prayers, and I'm so proud of you for helping people home. It's times like these that make us understand not only the evil in human nature but also the good. I've been trying to get through to the Red Cross to donate blood but it's been busy for hours.
