The Reposting Of The T Shirt Information!

i've been waiting to post this as, for the first time since i have been in
business (23 years), it was pretty damned hard to get hold of blank tee
shirts. but i finally did today so i wanted to at least let everyone know
what we are doing. i have completed the design i was working on for a
memorial tee shirt. we (sherry darling/music
traveler/lsg/toothfairy/brucenut and many others who have offered and i will
force to "volunteer") will sell it online with the profit (above costs to
produce) going only to families of bruce fans who were lost on sept. 11.
this is not done with a silk screen method and the reason i post that here,
is to let you know that i can't produce 1000's.the first ones will be
offered to LD members only. we have set up a separate email address for
orders that also allows for paypal payment. they will cost $25 for adult
sizes (med-2xl) and are done on white only. shipping wil be $4.00 for
priority shipping. more if you order more than 2-3 shirts. if this works out
so it can be done quickly enough, we can offer it to other bruce boards and
in children's sizes. i am just waiting to hear from sherry darling who will
be handling the orders and has set up the email/paypal and then i will post
that info. please DO NOT email me.the email address will be posted by sherry
darling.

Ok everyone, I'm so sorry to keep you all waiting! See what happens when you
don't check the boards for a few hours. The email address I set up for
ordering is:

brucefansunited@yahoo.com

The PayPal account is: Bruce Fans United, but all you have to do is set up a
PayPal account and when it asks you what email address you wish to send your
payment to include the above yahoo address. I will be instantly notifed that
the transaction has taken place with a confirmation number with your name,
address, etc.

Please be sure to include the following:

1) Name
2) Address, City, State, Zip
3) email address
4) quantity desired and size

Thank you to all of you who participate in this worthy cause and most of all
thanks to Dari for putting this beautiful shirt together. I'm proud to be a
part of it and like most of you just want to do "something" to help.

just wanted to bring this up for anyone who wasn't online yesterday or
monday. this thing isn't 2 days old yet and already we have great support.
but it wouldn't work at all except for sherry darling who spent a frantic
yesterday trying to figure it allout and saving me a lot of hassels.as i
told her yesterday, "you knew the job was dangerous when you took it". hope
you're still speaking to me when this is over. love ya sis!!!!

i printed up a lot of these last night and will start sending some of them
out this morning. i wish that priority still meant 2 days but i think that
that post office moment is long gone. i am trying to make sure that whoever
is going to the basie shows has theirs before the show.

just to bring everyone up to date.....

all shirts that were ordered on tuesday (except for those that are paying by
check) will go out this morning. some have already been mailed. half of the
orders that were posted yesterday will also go out this morning. i amwaiting
for more shirts to come in and then the rest will be mailed by saturday
morning at the latest.

sherry darlin and i discused putting this on other boards which we will do
but unfortunately the rest of my spring line is due next thursday so i won't
have as much of a chance to do these this coming week. but when we do post
this elsewhere, we will need people to do that for us who post regularly on:

GL
RMAS
LUCKY TOWN
any others

so if you do post elsewhere and can do this for us after next week please
let sherry darling know at brucefansunited@yahoo.com

I received my shirts in the mail yesterday. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!! I am wearing one as I type. Everyone involved should take a big bow. You are to be royaly thanked for this effort. I'm sure Bruce will be proud when he sees one of his Jersey fans wearing one down the road. Maybe it will be me!! Bruce fans really are the best and these shirts show it!!
