i'm trying...but it's just people's perceptions of younger people, y'know? at lunch i mentioned that i wanted to move out of TX (i currently live at home with my parents for now...saves on money) and go to chicago or san diego, and one of the people at lunch was like, "oh please! your mom still makes your lunch for god's sake!"....UGH!!! she makes me lunch b/c she's nice....i went FAR off to college and lived by myself and was fine....and here i have this person that has never lived anywhere but here tell me that i can't survive living away from home?!?!?!? it's just so annoying how patronizing people can be just b/c of age when age has NOTHING to do with motivation, ambition, OR intelligence!!!!
