Thanx for your thought. The answer is yes. 'Irresistible' went to No.15 on airplay alone, so people inside the music industry consider that a huge hit. It's the 20th most played song of 2001 so far, which is pretty amazing. It's the most played song by any female teen star this year. So that's a huge hit. It would have gone to No.1 had a commercial single been released.

I hope Shakira doesn't break that record. She is coming awfully close, up to #21. She already debuted at #3, higher than Jessica's #6. Plus P!nk is at #12.....Did she beat Jessica for airplay...Does she count as a teen pop artist?
