I was going to pick the Packers but both Red and Dave picked 49ers so I went with them. Grrr... wouldn't of mattered though, I still had 4 others wrong. :mad:


How was everyone's weekend? Mine was good... got a lot of shopping done, but I am still not done. Won't be until December 24th, tradition. :)

Everyone, but me went with the Niners... how weird. :o LOL! I'm tied with Dave right now, we both have different picks for Monday night so this should be interesting. :eek:

My weekend was pretty good, got all Christmas shopping done... D-O-N-E! :D Jenn, traditions were meant to be broken. ;):p

I hope they stop making Harry Potter stuff... Everytime I go to the store I find one more thing that the kids just have to have! ;)

I can stay on short-term and get reassigned into a role I'll really hate...

I can stay in my current position, but I have to committ to staying long term.

Or I can take my chances, turn in my two-week notice and pray that I find work in time to pay my bills.

i can't believe it's already monday again.....this weekend was just a blur.....all of my shopping is DONE though!!! i think i need to do a little "me" shopping to celebrate!!! ;)

i kinda did a little "me" shopping already this weekend....*NSYNC had a GameBoy game come out this week, so i bought it...and a GameBoy Advance so i could play it!!!! i'm so sad!!!

i think i'm retiring my credit cards though.....they've had it this month!!!!!

I got the game!!!! I really wanted to play it but I didn't know if I could explain Santa playing with the Nsync game! It looks really cute though.

I almost bought the phone, too. But that will wait until later. May get it, not sure yet.

my poor credit card bills!!! i'm so going to regret all this shopping i've done lately!!!

i refuse (for the time being) to buy the *NSYNC phone....although i have been tempted....especially when i found the only one left in the store.....but i refrained.....the GameBoy game is really fun though, Jen!!! if i could only get the hacky sack part down, i would be seriously kicking some butt!!!

I saw those same NSync bobbing head dolls... at Best Buy. I seriously thought about getting the JC one for Nikki, then thought better of it (kinda figured she'd probably get a few of them from other people let alone the ones she buys if any. :o).

The Nsync bobbing heads are cute but I didn't get them. I get most of the Nsync merchandise but lately there is just too much of it. And if truth be told my obsession has shifted slightly to Derek Jeter. I did get his bobblehead. :)

Yep, I was going to transfer to Dallas around the middle of January. But know, they're letting about 1500 people in Texas go, along with massive layoffs around the country. So all transfers and requests for transfer have been terminated.

They're letting 6 people go out of my branch, with a month's severance package. I offered to be one of the 6, since I was planning on leaving already and I have about 3 weeks of vacation time saved up. That'd give me 2 months to relocate and find work.

But since they know I was transferring that won't let us go that route either. Whole thing is a mess.

I know what you mean about being thankful you have a job... our company has been having some troubles, too. It looks like things are doing fairly well right now but ya never know right now.

It just sucks! GRRR :mad:

I try not to focus on it and go about my day... I hate being unhappy it goes against my nature... So I just :D and move along...


Things will work out for you, Red... one way or the other... I believe they always do... just not exactly the way we want them to, or in the time frame we were looking for them to happen. :)
