I just got off the phone with everyone's favorite consumer of warm beer, Mr. Andrew D. Wicks. He is staked out behind a ficus tree outside the studio in Atlanta, and he has confirmed that Bruce is indeed there! He also said that one of the people accompanying him is Chuck Plotkin!!

Maybe Bruce will record it in Atlanta, and bring it up to Brookfield Mass to finish it off. In the early 80s the Rolling Stones spent a summer at Brookfield (about 25 min. from my house) recording various stuff (not sure which album) and at teh end of the summer they showed up at a bar (Sir. Morgan's Cove) in Worcester and played to a lucky crowd of 300 (broke all firecodes). Maybe Bruce will do that.....maybe not.

Yes LJK et al I went there boy is it a difficult place to find hidden
off the main road but hell since i've been to Fargo, Iowa, Madison and other out of the way places I was going to find it.

... there are no digital photos, regular photos, bootleg cds or even
autographs to show for it just a very high cellphone bill for
calls to boston, iowa and all points in between.

As several people posted it is raining cats and dogs here tonight
and there was just no way I could stand outside the studios
or anything without catching pneumonia. I did briefly stand outside the door to one of the studios and you could hear music but I couldn't honestly tell you whether it was bruce or marah carey working on her comeback album!!!

From my vantage point (in the ficus bushes as Paulie put it) you could see the lobby and the upstairs areas where there seemed to be a conference room, a break room and the like. There
were obviously other people at the studio doing other recording e.g for radio commercials and the like as people were coming and going but right out front in the corner was a large black chevy suburban (I think that's the car name) with clayton county tags - probably a rental car.

At one point my friend chris built up the courage to phone the studios and ask if brendan was still there - the receptionist said yes and offered to go get him but chris said not to bother him so
I guess we decided at that point that bruce was still there too.

Around 7pm a guy came out and got in the suburban and moved it out front of the lobby emerged with a brolly (umbrella) and stood outside a door. About 5 minutes later Bruce emerges with
what I believe was chuck plotkin and two other people who I could not recognise - It could have brendan, it could have been anyone got into the car

The car drove up onto Clairmont and turned south towards the Lost City of Atlanta heading for who knows. the Four Seasons, the Hockey game I don't know as I had many long distance cell phone calls to make to bankers, fake bartenders, redheads dancing on roofs in iowa and circus leaders everywhere to let
them know that "These Are Better Days" Bruce is in Atlanta!

While waiting for chris several other cars came and went but ther were NO other bandmembers amongst them.

the person to feel sorry for is chris she went home to change and got back to the studios about 10 minutes after bruce left I think she is at home now drinking blue liquids and drinking herself
to sleep!! I hope she can still face work in the morning!
