I'm here too, have to run out to the car to get the other Bruce CDs, but I have the cold beer at refrigerator's length, and have my Atlanta Live Daily t-shirt on.

I have an idea for all of you with beer. I did this a few days ago and it works. Take the cups or glasses that you are going to use to drink your beer in and throw them in the freezer. It does keep the beer colder than just drinking it out of the can or bottle.

From Brett from RMAS:

Right now at MSG...

people are clutching their tickets while waiting to get into the arena. Some
lucky person is crying as they walk to their upgraded second row seats.
Pizza and pretzels are being consumed. A girl just got up to run to the
bathroom *one more time* so she won't have to go later during Badlands or
American Skin. People are chatting away nervously. A guy in the back is
hoping that Glory Days finally gets played. Another guy in the risers is
hoping that Glory Days doesn't get played. That Chris Whitley song is
playing for the second time over the loudspeakers and someone is asking
their friend next to them, "who does this song?". A group of people have
gathered between sections 40 & 97 to sing "Thunder Road" in two minutes.
Someone is trying to read the setlist on Danny's keyboard to see what will
be played tonight.

Madison Square Garden is alive tonight...

Everyone in the building is waiting for that special moment when the
houselights go down and the excitement begins...

And so are we.

Thanks to Denise, the queen of the setlists, for letting me play court
jester during these final MSG shows. Also, thanks to Steve and John, the
setlist callers who have provided me with the updates, to Joyce, who posted
one of the MSG shows during my fumigation nightmare, and to everyone who has
taken the time to email me their appreciation. Believe me, it has been a
pleasure.

So for those at home, get yourselves some pizza and pretzels, grab a special
beverage, dig out the tour program, fire up the CD player and have a great
night!

Let tonight's ride begin...

The only bad part about those frosty mugs is as they defrost you will have a mess as they mix with the teardrops on your desk. Just get a straw and drink your beer before it has a chance to get warm.

Because of 3 family committments, ages 3, 5, and 7, I'll be in and out until they go to sleep. The wife's not home. Ah, they'll be alright. Come here Mr. Molson!

Played Nassau Nights all day today just to torture myself and get pissed off. Did someone say 4 hours?

Almost show time. I'll be right back.

GWN - glad you could make it...your wife will still be there tomorrow - as will my husband...(not necessarily together....)

Even though those of us who have seen multiple shows are not surprised so far, any Bruce show is one hell of a good time.

I would still much rather be there than here.

Just got done putting four (yes, 4!) cheesecakes into the oven. Spent all day with my parents and Mrs. M, learning how to handle a 25-foot Sea Ray with a 350 V-8, and not hit anything or anyone. Not as easy as you might think. It didn't handle at all like my parents' 20 footer . . . I've got my second Sam Adams Summer Ale sitting here, as I watch the setlist unfold. I don't think that Glory Days will close the show--I agree with Swamptramp; it'll open the second encore, with Jon Landau on guitar.

I think that the elusive Rosalta just might come out tonight.

Tommorrow is SUPPOSED to be a beautiful southern summer day, which means about 90 with no humidity. I'm thinking sit out by the pool, listen to some Bruce, and remember the tour. Oh, and I'm probably going to see The Patriot tommorrow.

Now that I've been able to get back into the thread . . . Somehow, I don't think that it'll be too long before we get aother studio album/tour . . .

Hi, everybody. I'm here too. It's even harder than I expected, but I'm really thrilled for everybody who could be there. And thanks Bruce, E Streeters, and everybody on this board for a WONDERFUL 15 months, (even if I was only on the train for the last 10)! If I survive the encores, I'll see y'all in the next couple of days for our first group therapy session.

LOST IN THE BLANKING FLOOD!!!

p.s. Even though it may kill me, I hope for Dari's sake that he plays NYC Serenade as one of the encores, preferably the final one! But I still think he'll end it with LOHAD, so an earlier encore will be fine!

Hello TF

How are you. We went to the 15th and 20th. Took the kids on the 20th. It was great. What a sight seeing my 17 and 14 yr olds with their newly purchased Boss T shirts on just jammin to the show. What a time, it's painful tonight though. My sister is there. She has great MIB's. Can't wait to talk to her.

Magic Rat, what are you doing not at this show. If I was a betting man I would have lost money on that one. How did you like that tour?

okay team, I guess we must all have a boot of LOHD as its been played every night so far - we should try and synchronize on this one when it comes up - and think about the next tour http://talk.livedaily.com/docs/smile.gif

FYI: The 2 versions of Lost in the Flood played on the Darkness Tour (8/30/78 in Cleveland and 9/1/78 in Detroit) were both solo piano versions. Assuming tonight was a full band performance, that's a first since November 1975.

The Promise to lead the encores??? Bruce is trying to kill us!

Hello TF.

Been trying to post replies and my computer is just not cooperating tonight. Real slow and real weird.

We went to the 15th and 20th. Had the opportunity to take the kids on the 20th, it was great. Seeing my 17 and 14 yr. old screaming "Tramps Like Us" with their newly purchased Boss tshirt and hat on. One of my prouder Dad moments. Had a great trip. Hope you are doing well.

Magic Rat, I would have thought for sure you would be at the Garden tonight. Glad to see you havent lost your sense of humor. How did you like that Asbury tour. We thought it was fantastic.

Hey f7 (sis),

Hope you like the Hip. Their website is http://www.thehip.com

Hopefully, there should be some downloads available to give you a taste.

If you like them, spread the word...whatever your view, I'd be interested in hearing it.

There certainly seems to be magic in this night. Keep it coming!

growingYoung, Sonny's Ice Cream is at 34th & Lyndale in South Mpls., open only on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The butterfat content is 12%! If you're ever in the neighborhood I'd be happy to treat you to a cone.

Anyone that has been hitting refresh on this thread and wondering where the updates are (like me) - the setlist is continued on a separate thread. (And I think we were closing in on the record for most posts on one thread in one night...)

GWN,

Quickly added the site to my faovorites, and will check it out. If there are no sound bites I will find some, 'cause I am now a sister on a mission.
