So, Nikki has updated everybody on her attempt to oust Jeff Gordon as the most notable speed demon. I'll leave that alone except to say some Hugo wear and my right thumb are casualties of war.
The next day consisted of a Columbus-esque search for my bad-ass TV and the Charlie's Angels Sountrack. Long story short, Best Buy sucks on both fronts. Strong margaritas, good wine, a raid through my closet, and several questionable rounds of random board games rounded out the...let's just say loud evening. Let it be known that ISOJ left my place with my camo fun pants in hand to wear to the Philadelphia 'N Sync closet. Who knew we wore the same size? Sketchy. This is for you Chris...Nikki does a mean strip tease...the last word being the operative one.
Saturday rolls around, and I think I have reclaimed some routine to my life...until the phone rings. Extra ticket to the 'N Sync concert. Hem...haw...sure why not. I have an hour to adequately hoochie myself up to the ladies' standards. After realizing it was a fruitless venture, I default to comfort wear and make my way to the rendezvous locale...only to find what seems to be an Iroquois village preparing for battle. Well, one assumes that from the amount of war paint, head dresses, and squealing battle cries coming from the bathrooms. Then I just realize it's ISOJ coloring her ass with a black marker because she has a hole in her pants. Sister is not right in the head.
Concert comes and goes without much fanfare (the boys work hard for their money, but I'm so not their audience). The volume of little tykes with 'N Sync written on various parts of their bodies made the whole think like watching Sumo wrestling on ESPN. Intrigued by the exotic novelty of it all...but eventually too horrified by the amount of exposed flab.
All in all, it was a fun time. We may have gotten about 4 hours of quality rest, but it was mostly go go go from start to finish. At least we can say that Nikki and I can host a damn good time in DC should anybody be willing to test that. ISOJ had a good time, I think. Oh, and somebody else was there too...I think her name was rainbowgirl, or something.
Joking. Sunshine is a laugh riot. Oh ya, you betcha.

OMG!!!!! Stop the presses....Iggy went to a freakin' NSYNC concert. Okay, bottom line is, when BSB comes to KY for a concert I will definitely get you a ticket and then YOU have to come to KY so I can show you what a good time we Kentuckians can have!!!! I double dog dare you to take me up on this offer.

No, they suck ass. You're the only one that doesn't realize that.
In spite of what Nikki may say, I had a good time at the concert. Poor Lance has no coordination. I may have to change my favorite. Ummm, I'll pick Howie.

I didn't say they were good. I just insist that now you go to a BSB concert....with me.
I'm starting to think that PB and I need to take a trip to DC. I think we are missing out on so much.

We'll go there instead of Tennessee for our trip in January.

Nov 13th, 2000, 10:50 AM
That was for garnet.
Pack the pick up and head east. ISOJ got her Krispy Kreme (which tasted like szechuan glaze) and sunny got her Slurpee. Who knows, you may get to try on all my clothes also.

Nov 13th, 2000, 10:53 AM
Sounds perfect to me PB.
Ig, we can get KKs at Kroger and the gas station. No comment on the slurpees or trying on your clothes.

Count me in KY. I think we can get a pretty good size group to go see BSB. Let's see, there's garnet, 2old, me, Shorty ;), iggy and you!

I'm thinking the third party involved won't be up for DC. I could be wrong though.

Rosko too. Definitely Chris....I would love to see him at a BSB concert.

Iggy, inquiring minds want to know...
Did you do the tantrum dance to "Bye Bye Bye" and get your groove on during "Digital Getdown"?

Nov 13th, 2000, 11:08 AM
Chris, you already got 5 of your own. Why would another 5 scare you?
iggy
Nov 13th, 2000, 11:10 AM
That would be Nikki. She did every little bit of choreography the lads did. My dancing mostly consisted of me standing with my hands in my pockets and reading the sponsorship signs in the arena. I did manage a head bob during Bye Bye Bye...it was the last song, it was the least I could do.
ISOJ and Sunshine almost got into a fist fight with somebody's mom. Probably because sunny's skirt was over her head.

Philly crew in the house.
We've been monitoring this little "discussion" and find it quite disturbing that none of you reacted to the startling revelations from Iggy's post. I mean, HELLO! Marker on ISOJ's ass? Strip tease? Boardgames? Focus, people! I can only assume that you think he made them up.
We won't even get into Philly
Oh and as far as your big ass fun pants go, they fell off of ISOJ as she was rushing the stage. They're MIA. You'd better be planning a new Thanksgiving ensemble. Or you can go to Philly and pick them up from security with 2 forms of ID. And hurry because there's a gas station attendant just past the Maryland Welcome Center who might beat you to them.
And, sunshinegirl/rainbowgirl is still over here being insulted and pouting. Hope you're proud. :p

Don't even joke about the pants being missing.
Any cat fights at lunch?
NikDC
Nov 13th, 2000, 11:16 AM
Yeah, and you know those kicks and flips were a bitch in the tight seats.
No cat fights...I know you'd expect it after the trash pinky's been talking about my new found appreciation of Lance, but she was ALL talk and NO action. :p
Sunny and Juju went a round or two and juju and I threw a few blows over Justin, but everyone came away with makeup unsmeared, no claw marks at all.
All clothing was intact. Except for ISOJ.

The pants are camouflage, so ISOJ could still be wearing them...you just can't see it.
Another skirt/belt combo on sunny?

Nov 13th, 2000, 11:27 AM
Nope, headdress. But I wasn't supposed to tell :o
We're off to do the last bit of sightseeing that I could squeeze in (AKA going to IKEA) then we're off to the airport. Maybe we'll run into you at the Pottery Barn later.
The Minnesotans will leave the state by the end of the day. I'm sure there'll be a palpable sigh of relief from the law enforcement groups here. Except for Officer Carson, who we know wishes he'd see us again.

Nov 13th, 2000, 11:35 AM
Ikea? Oh, I guess being surrounded by Swedish things will let the Minnesotans feel at home.
YA! Have good trips. I'm at home, so call if you need to kill time.

What did you guys sing at karaoke the other night?
iggy
Nov 13th, 2000, 11:47 AM
After waiting for 3 and a half hours, Nikki and I finally got to sing Summer Night from Grease. After some big fat Eve lookalike did a Whitney Houston song.
All in all, we were good. Positive crowd response.

. . . is did anybody get to squeeze some NSYNC booty? And what ever became of my kissed card?!
Hi, ISOJ, Iggy, and Sunshine!

No booty, Mer. Nik came up empty again. Mofo bodyguards.
Glad to see you signed up. Remember, none of my secrets are to be revealed to this motley crew. No matter how they beg.:D

This is what I'm wondering.....if the situation had arisen and ISOJ was no longer searching for Justin because she had found him and they were 'hooking up'....when they were gettin' nekkid how did she plan on explaining the black marker on her ass???? Just curious.
iggy
Nov 14th, 2000, 08:26 AM
One thing I realize after meeting her, ISOJ lives in the moment. I'm sure she could have created an excuse for the black marker.
Nikki wanted to wear Charo shoes to the DC concert. Somehow they were deemed too tacky. Go figure. She looked like she should have been in a Carol Burnett skit.

Lucky for my reputation, video cameras were not permitted inside Chateau d'Nikki. :D
You have to talk to ISOJ and sunshine about pictures. My camera is in the car that's at the shop.

There is some photographic evidence. Let's hope ISOJ and sunny do some strategic editing before distributing the photos.

How much you want to bet Nikki does the eek face as she posts it?
By the way, the top 10 posters are all honked up now. Kev4Ever is now below sunshinegirl and me. That's not right...she had over 9,000. And Red and Bix are just below her. Something's not right in the henhouse.

Yesterday it was saying that some of us had registered in 1969...I noticed it on NEWBS' registration.

Nov 14th, 2000, 09:25 AM
Yeah, that happened when the board honked up on June and people had to re-register, one thinks.
Maybe I should just celebrate the fact that I'm number 5...not matter what underhandedness occurred.

So, Nik, I should or shouldn't reveal that you roam the streets at night in a black cape and a kick-ass utility belt on a groovy motorcycle because you are . . . .
BATGIRL!?
Oops! Maybe that was a secret.
