Simon Says Girls Don't Like Kimberly Caldwell

When Extra TV sat down with 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell, the first topic on the plate was the ousting of Kimberly Caldwell. And did Carmen Rasmusen survive by sympathy? "Why did Carmen stay and Kimberly go? First of all, I think girls just don't like her... I couldn't care less which one of them goes this week and which one goes next week."

Yeah....well, any girls who don't like her are just jealous of her....and it's NOT the contestants Simon's talking about, because I know for a FACT that Kim got along with every single one of them!

I didn't like Kimberly Caldwell, but it wasn't because I was jealous of her. I think she is pretty and has a good voice, but I thought she was obnoxious. That's why I didn't like her.

i dont think its just girls..my brother thinks she looks like a pig, and his friends dont like her either..but i think its cause we're from katy and it seems no one wants to see her succeed or something..she comes off as really bitchy and fake.

i did not want to see her go this past week though..it wasnt her time. boo carmen.

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with girls being jealous of her.

I just don't like her because I don't think she is up to par vocally with the rest of the contestants.

Maybe Kimberly didnt stay because her supporters slacked off because they assumed Carmen would be leaving

Maybe some people just dont think she had the chops to go further in the compitition but that doesnt have anything to do with being jealous

Um, hello. I'm a girl, I watch AI religiously, and I never liked Kimberly from day 1. And no, it's not cuz I'm jealous. I would have rather had Carmen stay longer than her......at least one's not fake as hell. ;)

Carmen should have went. Kim was a GOOD singer. I was yellin at that TV, I'll tell you what.

I was kind of a Kim fan..

At times during her stint on the show, something about her just really got under my skin..

I really hope she continues to develop her voice though.. I love the tone of it,and I think if she develops her range more she'll go far.

In a few years Carmen could make it big, but right now I think she needs to control her voice, I don't think she has much control on it.

Kim kinda grew on me. I thought she was acting sort of snotty at the beginning of the show, and then she tried too hard to cover it up. Towards the end it seemed like she was being more genuine and then I started to like her.

As for the Kim vs. Carmen thing, I do think Carmen deserved to go. But as Simon said last year about Christina Christian, she wasn't going to win anyway, so it doesn't really matter when she goes.

What really irked me was in the results show in the semifinals when her and Julia were told they were in the top 3. When Charles' name was called, she ran over to him and hugged him. And then when Charles got kicked off, I remember Kim shaking her ass in front of him. What a darn camera hog. UGH.

Believe what you want, soulstress, but it's true! And I DON'T know Kim because I run her fan club...I know her from Pop Stars 2 (I was in the first one)! The fan club currently has 314 members, and it's growing every day!

But, I happen to be good friends with Paula, who is friends with Kim. And I beleive Paula when she says Kim is a nice person.

But I cant tell you that is was a snob on the show cuz when they where showing the auditions of groups.Kim didn't want Julia in their group for some reason and began to be bitchy towards her for some reason.She mad the other girls in their gorup not want her either,so Franchie[ I think that was her name] came to the rescue and all of a sudden kim was playing all inocent.

Well, at least Carmen is gone now, her voice was far too shakey to even make it as far as she did.

Kimberly Caldwell didn't have the right sound, her voice was too deep to even consider being on American Idol :o, but that's my opinion.

I'm sorry, but you can't judge her by that little incident....and believe me, that's all it was....the show only showed you JULIA'S side of the story, and I've heard Kim's version....you have no reason to hate her and call her a bitch!
