I totally agree. I don't think Ruben's that special at all. His voice to me, is nothing new. He's just another Peabo Bryson type voice. Sure it's a great voice but there's only so much that can be done with it. Tuesday night he was NOT GOOD, it was nice to see that he can be vulnerable.

I love Clay b/c I think he is a breath of fresh air. A good person who does good things for people and he has a sound I've NEVER heard before. Yea maybe he's good for Broadway but that doesn't mean he is NOT good for recording (Ahem, KEVIN from BSB lol).

Kim L is also growing on me more and more. I feel like she really puts it on the line each week and really tries to raise her game - esp. coming from being in the bottom 3 a couple times...

Ahem. Kevin from BSB rarely gets solos, and his voice isn't half as good as Clay's.

Ick. I can't believe I just said that. I don't even particularly enjoy Clay's voice, but I won't deny his talent. Dude would be an incredible Broadway star or singer in a Disney animated movie.

Back to the topic... I like Ruben's voice, but I really hope he steps up his game soon. I think he became somewhat complacent.

Ruben just has the way of drawing everyone in. He could sing the ABCs and be safe.

But honestly, I hope Clay and Kim are the final 2. They are SO adorable together! And their voices.. wow :)

Josh has a good voice, albeit Country, but hey, whatever..

Carmen has this robotic voice and then goes into Goat Boy mode.. I think she has a strong voice, and maybe in a few years after more work, she'll be ok..
