I'm getting ready to take my nephew to the library...it's June, and it's only 65 degees...what's up with that?!?!?! It hasn't even been warm enough yet this summer to go swimming! Not that I'm complaining mind you, I love this kind of weather! I'm watching him for the day so I suppose I should do something to entertain him for awhile!

last month, in the middle of may, it was already getting in te mid-70's and 80's! :eek: it gets hotter here earlier than some places, just not az/ca/tx/fl lol i remember one summer here, it got to 117! ack!!! i wanna go swimming...lol

The first single (St. Anger) is the worst song on the CD. It blows...


I would rate it about a 4 or 3 (1 being the best). It is lacking solos, which REALLY hurts it. BUT, it is better than LOad/RELOAD... way better. Has some good songs.

It's usually warm here by now, at least in the 80's! It was warmer in April than it is now! (I remember because it was hot as hell for my GC concert here!)

I feel ya on that.. I'm not the huge butt crazy in love fan I once was but I really haven't been that way for a while. It started pre-break, so I can't blame it on that. I'll always be a fan though, I still like to pop in their cds once and a while.. I heard QPG on the radio the other day and I kept it on, it was nice hearing it. I usually hear them when my Mom plays them, she is still all about them. She'll put in a CD if she's cleaning or something and I'll hear them from up in my room.

I don't really know how to explain this. I can't say my love has faded (that much) because I heard "Drowning" on the radio like a week ago. (it was a miracle) Anyhow, I remember being like "Oh ****.." and I just sat there and listened. Even if its not my kind of music or maybe even if I don't obsess over them, they'll always have a little place inside me. I've been a fan for years so I guess it just doesn't go away? Yes it can fade and fade and fade, but that little piece of me will go buy their album if another should come out. Then again..I haven't found myself putting in any of their albums lately just to listen. I don't know..I can never make sense, but I think you all know what I'm saying..right? lol

Yup yup. I agree. I've been a fan of there's for a while too, and I couldn't just be like, 'oh they suck, I dont like them now' but i'll probably buy their albums and stuff still. I'ts just with me, I've closed myself in to backstreet, and backstreet only. It took me a long time to chill out with the backstreet stuff, and move on and listen to other groups too, because I got tired of listening to their stuff. Hopefully they'll change there style a little, sing more about other things. Like how AJ wrote 'Happy', I'd like to see more of that kinda writing.

Apparently this is the latest Joel has said about Nick:

Joel Madden of the pop-punk band Good Charlotte was recently interviewed on Seattle's KISS 106.1 and made a few negative comments about Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter. When asked if there was ever a time where he hoped a picture wasn't taken of him and another celebrity together, Joel replied, "Oh yeah, Nick Carter, that's right!" Next he went on to remember a time he had met Nick saying, "Yeah yeah, that was a traumatic experience, he's so awful, god awful. Especially that solo thing he did. He needs to be burned alive!" This is not the first time Joel has dissed Nick Carter; not too long ago he took a few stabs at the blonde singer an episode of TRL.

Yeah, whatever Joel thinks doesn't influence me in the slightest...and whatever he says doesn't hurt my feelings any...why must people feel the need to argue about it?

Here's what someone posted over there:

The show omg kicked sooo much ass!!! I got a picture with Jordan way before the show started and then i met Billy *faints* who was getting out of a cab with his girlfriend.. i asked him for a hug yet he said "Sorry i am late for sound check" <-- liar they did sound check at like 8am... Then he was gunna talk to me, it seemed like it yet his girlfriend was pulling him away but i shook his hand and he said "thanks so wearing the shirt" as he was being pulled away *talking about the Level 27 shirt*.... I made friends with a women who was in the drawing to win the car, unfortunaly she didn't win but then she got their autographs for me:) But I got photos of the winner with GC and boy did Billy look hot!! Ok so then about 5:40 they finally opened up the doors and i was about 4th row from the front.. Movielife opened and kicked major ass and i made friends with their guitar tech or manager whoever he was was wearing My Chemical romance shirt on... he was soo nice!!! the pit was pretty bad... i got elbowed in the chest sooo many times, but hell it was worth it!!!!! Next was MxPx they were awesome... during their show the pit got out of hand and i fell and everyone landed on top of me (seriously 50 people)! So they finished the show with Punk Rawk Show and they said they will be coming out with a new album this August!!! Benji came out to sing a song with them!! (Benji has lost weight) he was soo cute!!! Ok so then there was like a 20 minutes in between sets and i made friends with these girls who were in the pit and it was all cool...I was like third row back. By the time Good Charlotte came out holy ****!! I got pushed back soo far into the pit... Alot of people, ok let me rephrase that, everyone around me did not know the words to "Little Things", "East Coast Anthem", and "Orange County World Wide" haha... Yes Benji did his speech on suicide and his speech on Girls and Boys... Joel did the speech on Cashdog... i got some of the preformance on my cell and on my answering machine.. i will upload them later! Ok so after Good Charlotte got off stage.. it was a pretty short set but may I add Billy was looking fine.. but i swear him and his girlfriend were having problems... he looked mad!! Anyway the show kicked major ass!
Ok so after Good Charlotte played i got the brilliant idea that i am going to say "That i am Josh Stern's cousin and that i lost my pass in the pit" and they bought it!!! So yea i got backstage and i was waiting there for my "cousin" to come out and there i met all the guys and got hugs from all of them including Chris who is soo nice and Paul is a sweetie!!!.. they all were soooooo sweet... Billy's girlfriend was being soo mean to me. she was saying "why are you gunna hug her? bla bla bla" and he totally got mad at her.. haha... ok so then i got kicked out of that area.. so i had to wait in the other backstage area waiting for Josh to come out.. this worker guy was about ready to slice my throat but Josh finally came out and we talked and he was like "How do you know me.." and i explained to him that we are cousins through my uncle rich (this was bs... i do have an uncle rich but i don't think we were related) but it turns out he also has and Uncle Rich...!! So he said "If you really are my cousin nice to meet you!" and i shook his hand *damn is he hott* but then i got kicked out of backstage and luckly i was able to see NFG who kicked ass, they took the guy on stage who was wearing a Water Polo helmet! haha it was soo funny!!! So then the show was over before you know it.. 10pm!!
So Cat and I waited afterwords to meet them and stuff and we had pretty good luck... we got out picture taken togther at the Civic Station.. and then we went over to the area near their busses and about 10 minutes later Joel comes out.. i called him over!! And this guy who flew all the way over from Japan talked to Joel and Joel talked back in some Japanese Joel was sooo sweet to this guy!! And then Cat asked for a picture with him and the damn camera didnt work!! so then we waited and waited and then Cat knows the guys from Over it so she called them over and we talk to them for a while and yea it was awesome.... so then they security guards got soo pissed at everyone and forced them to leave.. but did cat and i leave?? hell no!! We stood around so more watching the after party go by. some of the guys were doing "beer bongs"!!
Haha so then about god what time was it 12 am Syris and Ian came over and awww they are sooo sweet and nice Cat and I got a picture with Syrius! And we talked to him for a while and i got a hug from him and i wanted one from Ian yet he said "Hugs are worse then Drugs" <-- Classic.. so then they went away ok so then i got a Workers pass ( now on my wall)
as we were walking away to go to the car we meet ***** whats his name* anyway the guys who put the cars in the tuck.. they wanted to meet us they were so nice!! Then i saw these guys who were supposed to hook us up with backstage yet they said they could not (those dumb ****s) and then i totally cussed them out and then this guy *who workes for Civic tour* was like "woa did a girl just cuss out a guy" and i was like hell yea girl power, he just cracked up!!!

I also read another post about her being pissy about him hugging the fans, so when someone would ask, he would turn them down.
