Ruben Studdard spoke extensively with Teen People about his weight insisting it "was never an issue before I was on 'American Idol'." Ruben says, "I think most of the world unfairly judges people on shape and looks. That's why so many people have eating disorders and hate what they see in the mirror. It's even sadder because there's room in this world for everyone." He added, "I am who I am. I am not going to change. Love me or leave me alone."
