How did you become a Britney Spears fan?

The title pretty much speaks for itself. Just tell how you became a Britney Spears fan...was it a song on the radio you heard, saw a video on MTV, saw her in concert...what exactly drew you to Britney that made you become a fan?

well I first remember seeing her when she was doing the Disney concert on TV (the ORIGINAL broadcast one... not the "later" one she did... this was just a one song dealy w/ BOMT)...

I remembered it very well (think I might still have a tape somewhere :o )...
then YEARS later (at least it seemed :p)... I found out about her again when she was doing the Crazy video making of... saw that on MTV and was like... hmmm ;)... and then later found that it was her and got interested and d/l her videos I had missed (like Baby and stuff )... and rest is history ;)

Ive always been pretty much interested in the girl. But just recently I started identifying myself as a fan. I use to like Christina A. but I see nothing admirable about the girl now. I think Britney is more of a natural beauty and isnt such a drama queen. I also admire how she has handled the Justin situation.

I was still in the fourth grade and I kept hearing her song "Baby one more time" in the radios and I thought Mariah or someone is the one singing and I loved that song so much..

And the first time I saw her video, I was like soo so jealous because she was so cute and can do all those stuffs.. like the gymnastics and that.. :D

I've been a fan when she first came out...I wasn't really into the whole pop, well BSB...but yeah I wasn't really about the whole POP thing until my cousin got the first ever Britney single..the one pic of brit when she was really young...she has the bangs and her hair was brown...anyways...I thought wow she's cool...and then later on that year I found out about TRL...and that's where I found her music video and this was like 98' ahaha..and I was like wow..she's soo cute..and her dancers are cute and she has a great essence..her personality just shines through. Then i really got into her..and recording everything about her at 2000..and yeah..Its been a rollercoaster..haha sometimes I would get pissed at her for doing stuff, but then adore her some things..so yeah..I use to be a Christina fan..I still am, but there's something about Britney..I don't know..she just has this magic to her to make you sit up and pay attention..I can't explain it.

the BOMt video got my attention.
i've always loved extremely catchy pop songs (especially stuff from the eighties). some of it is cheezy but it's my guilty pleasure.
then seeing what a captivating performer she is.
her personality really shines through onstage & in her videos. ^ i agree 100%.
vocally she could be better. it irks me sometimes but i get over it. ;)
i also admire how she doesn't take herself too seriously.
