Our Review:
Goodbye Sweet Kisses, hello "Sweetest Sin." This pop princess is all grown up, and she has got the cowriting credits and steamy singles to prove it. Yeah, it's a guilty pleasure, but, ooh, it feels good when Jessica--Mrs. Lachey, if you're nasty--pumps the high notes with carnal oomph on tracks like the Diane Warren-penned "Sweetest Sin," Kylie Minogue-esque "Forbidden Fruit" and Middle Eastern-flavored "My Way Home." Beyond the hot-and-bothered stuff, she also shows off her sentimental side with mature, overly romantic and ultra-positive songs to her dad, a love-who-you-are acoustic theme, and, yes, even a track about hubby Nick. Getting into the Skin ain't so bad.
