Mine won't be passworded. Too annoying. I'd rather just keep someone from rightclicking and saving.

Has anyone here ever enlisted in the army?
NEWBS
Nov 28th, 2000, 10:55 AM
I was recruited to play in the Army National band in Washington, DC. I almost joined up, because I was young, of drafting age, and we were smack in the middle of the Iran hostage crisis. I'd rather be blowing a horn than blowing away Arabs.

Governer Lawton Chiles (rest his soul) once recommended me as one of TWO in the State of Florida to attend West Point Military Academy when I was a junior in high school. I was also the ONLY girl accepted into Howe Military Academy for high school in Indiana, as long as I didn't sleep there.
I fought to get into Howe and didn't go, then I got all my paperwork for West Point, and opted to party hardy with my big brother's frat brothers at UF instead.
But I looked damn good in camoflauge.
To be honest, the only reason I wanted West Point is because Kevin and Johnny Brau were going and they were HOTTTT numbers I knew.

Did y'all miss what 'enlist in the army' means?
NEWBS
Nov 28th, 2000, 11:02 AM
Geez, ISOJ. I thought you were changing the thought to it's original meaning. And the answer is an ABSOLUTE NO!!!!! Giving OR receiving!! Not that it's anyone's buzness. :)
SidewaysY
Nov 28th, 2000, 11:02 AM
No, but it's as close as we could get.
ALMOST counts, right?

I-64 is nearly a straight shot for you ,iggy. ;)
BTW, did you get what I sent you?
iggy
Nov 28th, 2000, 11:33 AM
64 goes strait to where I went to college...as well as all the way to St. Louis. It's about an hour from where I am now.
I did get the e-mail. Thank you.

Nov 28th, 2000, 11:50 AM
Iggy misspelled straight. HA!
Anyway, what are you waiting on Iggy, if it's such a straight shot hop on 64 and head this way. I can get you a real good deal at a hotel nearby.
BTW, the Jesus PB wants me to hook-up with is not Christ's son. It's an ugly, non-English speaking, dishwasher at the Mexican restaurant. It's actually Heysus.
