OT: Do u watch making the band w/ diddy?

I saw the making the video for"Da Bands" (I HATE THAT NAME) 1st single and if I were Sara I'd be pissed! They cut her part out completely. She just walked across a fence while pre-pubescent boys drooled over her womanly figure!!!! WHAT IS THAT???? Umm hello?!?!? I watched the show and she DID sing the chorus for that song....:rolleyes:

Are they tryin' to tell her something with that????

hey yeah i heard their song today and like i thought that maybe it was just a very long snipett or sumthin cuz the song is like i think under 3 minutes. but yeah wow i'd be sooooooooooooo mad if i were sara man! i love her voice and it was sad how like she's the only r&b singer there and stuff. tonight's the season finale!

Yeah yeah yeah.... I just heard the single. That was the song that Sara had a problem writing too. Folks wanted her to sing about busting guns but she said she's not about that. She wanted to sing about grab your girl and guy and go dance. Then homegirl that works with Mary J. came to help her do some things then she blew the verse away.... I would be mad if I were her too. A. the song has no hook now it seems like. It's just an ongoing monotonous rap. There is nothing to break it up to give the listener a break before the next rapper comes on. I knew that would be a problem when Puffy signed all those cats in the band in the first place. HE should have haid maybe 2 rappers, 2 R&B cats, and one who could have done both to unify both sides. The way it is now, Sara needs to be on almost every song to sing the hook to break up the ongoing flow of the song. Unless they can get one of the rappers to rap a little hook, or bridge. But if that is the best they can do on this song, then it won't mesh. Puff said himself a song is NOTHING without a good hook. This song is tight, but it's missing that good hook. That good hook that we all heard Sarah record in the studio.

Anyword on when the album will drop? I want to hear the song they did with Wyclef. That was HOT! I was loving Sara and Dylan's part on the song... '

P.S. Is it just me or does Sarah remind you of Kimberly Locke on American Idol 2?

Ugh, I try not to watch the show. I look at Diddlypuff acting that way and all I see is another Lou.

I completely agree. Diddy should have gotten and rapper/singer or another singer. I just don't see this group goin' anywhere if he does'nt change up his formula.

As far as Diddy bein' Lou..... I don't see it. I think he has a great business mind and he's been completely real with those kids. He knows exactly what success takes and he's attempting to lead them there.

I just think this first single is poo and a HORRIBLE 1st step!

I'm always like did you see Kim tear that song up on Making The Band? FOlks are like Kim? There is no Kim... I'm like ooooh, I mean Sarah... Whatever. lol. Ok... Fill me in on something. What happened to Mysterious? I missed something about her supposed comeback. Last I heard Da Band was messing up and Puff bought her back. I remember Babs saying they're couldn't be two female rappers, Chopper and Fred were saying she was just whack, and everyone else was like she shouldn't be on the track b/c she did not go through what they all went through to get on the album. Then dude was telling them if they did not want her on the track they had to fight it. So what happened with that? I liked her so I was hyped when they bought her back. I liked her over Babs anyway. But I thought it was very scheisty of Puff to bring her back only to ick her back out again b/c Da Band did not want her there. I was like you rememebr how she tripped out when she got cut right. She gonna be HELLA flip now. I'm like this will give her just cause to burn Puff's stuff up. lol...

Annnnnnyway... I think the first single could have been hot if t hey kept Sara to bring in the R&B, and then Dylan to bring in a new reggae sound... But Puff know what he's doing I guess... Even tho on a different note, Mary J. Blige said she hated Love @ 1st Sight, but Puff did not listen to her and made it anyway. Mary said the song sounded like *****...

Diddy brought Mysterious back just to prove a point. The group was goin' though one of their many ego trips/ fights and when I say group I mean Fred, Ness, Chopper. Diddy was jsut tryin' to prove that he could creat a completely new if not better group from teh pleathera of crazy talented people he cut.

That sucks for Mysterious cuz she was just a little pawn.

I like Babs though. She's so hardcore and just rough! Then they giver her a lilttle make up and some nicer hair and she's cute........but still rough! I luv it! :D

I never heard anything about the Mary J song.........

So did they show Mysterious' attitude or opinion when she got cut a 2nd time? She HAD to be hot! As far as Puff starting a new group, I highly doubted he would have done that. It seemed like he always wanted to keep some kind of new drama going in the house and on the show at all times. Bringing in Mysterious was just another way to do that. Why of ALL people you bring her back. The same girl that BUGGED out on the last season b/c she got dropped. People were discussing her tripping out just as much as the final outcome of the soon to be band. So for Puff to just squash the whold band in the middle of the show then what would have happened to the show and the conctract I'm sure he signed with MTV. It wasn't like he could just form a whole new band on the spot and get things cracking from the same point the original band left off at just like that.

On another side note, Mary J. was talking her feelings about the song on the limited edtion DVD that came with her new CD when it was first released.

I don't think he had any intentions of starting a new band I think he was jsut givin' them a reality check. He was tellin' them their egos should not be as big as they were for a band that had no album yet. And when he brought Mysterious in he told her it was just to " Check on her" and "to see how she was doin'" cuz he knew when she'd left the first time they were'nt exactyl on the best terms.

Diddy told her they maybe she could be on a track on the album or work with the band in the future once they are established or something liek that.

And just to mess with the bands heads and get them to move their asses Diddy let Mysterious call the house and see if she could come over and check it out after they've heard rumors about her joining the band. THEY WERE PISSED OFF!!!!!!!
