OT: I don't know if i can take much more

All this stuff going on with my mom and grandma, plus the stress of packing and moving plus working 80hrs a pay period is taking a toll on me. I wound up in the ER last night with high blood pressure. I freaked out.....the left side of my body felt strange, like almost numb. My ears were pounding. I called the triage nurse where i work at and she told me to come in, so i spent 2 hours here at work last night. All they did was moniter my blood pressure and looked at me alittle, and decided i could go home with no meds and just to make a regular doctors appointment next week! **sigh** I am making myself sick, i think. I dont know what else to do to handle all this stress i am under.

Sorry, i guess i just had to vent alittle.

aww neecee I am sooo sorry *hugs* .... nsync cd's always helps me mellow out when I am stressed.. I know it's a silly way but it temporarily makes you calm!

Aww Niece I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like you had some sort of panic attack or something, those are scary. I'm glad you're ok. Hang in there, if you need anything just let me know. *hugs*

I dont know guys, its just bad news after bad news. **sigh** My mom is coming home tommorow, but now there is no hope for surgery, according to the doctor. My mom also changed her mind and signed a DNR.

NeeCee, I've heard that a panic attack can feel just like a heart attack if it's bad enough.

I'm butting in here for a minute...but it does sound EXACTLY like a panic attack. I started having them August 02 and up until yesterday I hadn't had one since around October 02. Unfortunately I've had 3 in about 24 hours.

Same symptoms as you though, the numb tingly arm, pounding in the ears (actually mine is more of a buzzing) and rapid pulse. It SUCKS big time.

Ask your Dr. about it. I hate taking medication but the only way to control mine is with drugs.
