After hearing that Pink has turned to punk rockers Rancid for the production duties, Busted star Charlie Simpson told the Daily Star: "Pink is working with Rancid on her new album. It's ridiculous. She's about as punk as my little finger."

Punk as my little finger? LoL. I think it's cool she's working with Rancid. Nobody ever said you had to be punk to work with Rancid. It's just like all the rock fans freaking out about Tommy Lee working with Nick Carter. Who the hell cares? Do people have to sing the same type of music forever? Just because Pink started off in the pop scene doesn't mean she has to stay there.

I for one also thought it sucked when Tim Armstrong was working with her.

First he has Kelly Osbourne in Rancids video and now he's doing stuff for Pink.....

I don't know why he's getting all riled up about Pink doing songs with the member of Rancid. This is what Pink wants to do, to update her sound, to make it more aggressive. Do you want her to do the same R&B and pop and going to a staggering 18 (!) producers like her 2000 debut? And I like the new music by her--she's sounding so much better with the more punk-driven sound! Plus, she writes all of her songs, so this is more of her and what she is feeling.
