Always on the prowl(er) for new and more introspective Backstreet navel-gazing (yours, not theirs....although...) does their music affect you more than aurally? I mean do you experience it with more than your ears? And no, I don't mean just your naughty bits.

I've come to think that most of us have an inner third ear that can hear extra things in their music. Or perhaps our collective forbears were seeded on this planet by Emotari star travelers and over the generations of human gene sharing we who are affected developed such that that extra or "Backstreet" ear comes into play when experiencing their strange, siren-like Emotari melodic strains or maybe they are mating chants.

Huh? What does my bellybutton have to do with the BSB???

That is what I/we(?) sometimes call that need for digging up the roots of our obsession and intellectualizing your internal Backstreet.

Oh Geeze! You just crack me up! I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, but, yes I do sometimes think we have a sort of sixth sense about BSB. I try to make other people understand and they just don't seem to get it. It must be that Emotari thing of yours, I'm tellin ya, I'm starting to believe in that more and more!

I know what you guys mean about having a BSB sixth sense. It's weird, but sometimes I'll turn the radio on just when they're on or I'll do the same thing with the TV. I seem to have a radar when it comes to them. It's scary sometimes.

It is my contention based on a careful and detailed gathering of empirical data that these so-called Backstreet Boys are not boys at all, nor are they human. At some point prior to 1992, they arrived Earthside from the planet Emotar. Their ultimate goal appears to be world domination...

SDL: Oooh, dominate ME, baby!

...AS I was saying (I'm warning you, you freak) and I believe that it will be achieved by the non-violent (unless someone gets between a fan in heat and a Boy) means of emotional enslavement of nearly the entire female (and apparently some males) population of the planet by emotional manipulation (SDL, BUTTON IT!) thusly reducing said females to helpless puddles of soppy, emotional goo.

I have listed the working points of my theory some time back and some boarders have begun to notice things also. Of course since I do not speak Emotar (that is assuming it IS articulated and not telepathed) Emotar is my name for their far-distant planet.
The former Tommy slipped up once in one of the band FAQ's and speculated that they were either alien lizards or mutant lizards which I picked up on immediately working tirelessly to piece together the evidence from seeming inadvertent clues (ah, they are clever, those Emotari). Hey, and once he did that, guess who is gone and bitter?
I clued in when someone innocently asked what everyone's favorite color was. It was almost overwhelmingly blue and I theorize that they transmit their emotion-enslavement rays cheifly through that frequency by which we percieve the color blue. And what's the name of the new album? And what colors just happen to make up the Emotari battle flag? Black and blue army my a**, Nick! They just markin' territory!
If this doesn't convince you and as I said I'm not going to recount the whole theory here, but why I ask you were Kevin and Brian (their Earth names) practically raised together and one has an accent and one hardly has a trace of one and speaks very slowly? Hmmm? Could it be that the Earth-Emotar transmitter link is in his head? Why do you think he's growing that mane out? Makes detection less easy.
And in case there are spies about, this is not really Geeze typing this. I am out of town and will return next week.
Watch the skies!

The former Tommy, LMAO...but Geeze, if he spilled, err..slipped up with the alien/mutant info, and now you are giving us the info, aren't you afraid? I mean, will you go to the concerts incognito now that you are on to them?
Will you hire bodyguards? Maybe the hater will gleefully volunteer to escort you to the next BSB concert to serve as your protection.
Oh, and how do the BSB bodyguards fit into this equation? Are they here to tabulate the numbers of human emotional enslavement or what? Maybe that explains.....nope I don't even wanna go there.
What about those small blue flashlights at the concerts.....mind control beams???

Exactly.
No, truth is my shield. I don't worry them because I SOUND wacko (I heard that) and so they don't think anyone believes me. And I have tolds you, this is not Geeze! I am out of town and will return next week.
No, I fear The Hater and his ways. He just wants that Happy Valley bounty money for turning me in.
The way I figure it, the bodyguards are really large storage androids. The real bodyguards are all those little yappy dogs.
And just who do you think supplies all those little glow things? At the next concert, peer closely at the sellers of those things. You might be able to catch a flash on inexpertly covered green skin, gray skin, whatever color the lower-ranking Emotari are.
And no one will be able to spot me at a concert. I look like everybody's mother albeit a tad wild-eyed.

Now that you mention it, I noticed while standing in the ever so peaceful *cough* line at the concerts to buy BSB merchandise, the people behind the tables had that "gazed over look" (could be contacs to disguise their real eyes). AND, if you dared ask them why they were out of a certain shirt, they would just look at you like they didn't speak English and point to the other shirts.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...............by golly Geeze, oooops (I mean Geeze imposter), I think you are on to something!!

Geeze,

You did it now, I'm laughing so hard, I'm crying and I'm working hard not to pee in my pants.

I have a theory about the real reason for their flying above us at the concerts and a theory about the incessant high pitched screaming.

Oh, my,

Sue J.

Suej, although I am out of the towns and not due to return until next week (saying that loudly and looking around), please, please, spill theories while you are able. Because once they get you, you become a Stepford fan, worse a Stepford tb braced, screaming fan.

BSBGeezerfan...

I'm with SueJ on the laughing so hard part! If I laugh too loudly I'll wake the kids....but I can't help it!

Maybe we should get Mulder and Scully to follow up on some of your leads.

Good idea! Geeze will contact them as soon as she returns from out of the towns. Next week.

Ok, I know I am old and slow, but what's a Stepford? Is this Emotar speak for something sinister?
Translation please.

Sorry. I don't know if you remember this movie called The Stepford Wives. It was about a town called Stepford in which all the husbands were replacing their wives with mindless, obedient androids. A real libber's worst case scenario horror movie. And trust me, I'm older than you, lol.

Actually I am only 21 in "Backstreet years".
Inquiring minds may ask, how then do you have a 17 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. The secret is to take your age and subtract 20 years and presto, "Backstreet years"......the fountain of youth.
