What is up with Mariah and this phrase? lol

She sings it in Bringin' On The Heartbreak

she sings it in Heartbreaker[

and she sings it (kinda) in Can't take That Away (Revival Mix) (here she sings "I'm not gonna let you get the best of me")

...just wondering lol...an observation :p

maybe it's her new phrase. like how the Ag kept saying "whatnot" and "I'm 21 and blah blah blah experience blah blah blah and clubs"

yeah, she says whatnot and cookie-cutter alot. I've started to get infected to the whatnot now, i'm using it as an ending to EVERYTHING these days :(

Well there two different song's one is rap the other is a ballad.
If you look at the video that guy is slapping her around a little bit
and what she is saying your bringing on the heartbreak.

If you listen to "Theres Got To Be A Way" she say's and hungry children wont have to die. And "Bringing on the Heart Break"
she say's like a child without a home.


If you listen to Rainbow the album it is very personal to her

Also in that song what she is saying is you got the best of me.
In that can't take that away from me she is saying you can't take nothing from me.
That was a great video it show's her in a really nice house with her writing song's her looking outside a window while she is signing that song.
