I don't know.

I don't like his new songs at all.

I just didn't want to bitch about it in the other thread where everyone seems to be so thrilled.

I'm just extremely disappointed.

I agree... the songs were okay, but they just didn't thrill me

Oh my gosh...I thought it was just me not feeling the new songs! I was so excited to see him finally perform...and I just sorta sat there and was like..."uhhhh...ok". I don't know what it was. JC has such an incredible voice...those performances just didn't do him justice. :(

Exactly!

He's a GREAT songwriter. We've seen that through the *NSYNC songs he's written and the songs he's written and produced for other artists.

So we know he's good. So why this stuff?

OMG! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I rushed home from work to catch it and the whole time I sat there going "Who are you and what have you done with JC?"
I personally REALLY DISLIKE that song and he barely sings on it! It's all the same thing, over and over........

I wasn't too thrilled. I was left like okay... I wasn't too sure about the songs. They weren't bad, but they weren't good. And was it me or was the sound not that good. I was caught off guard, too, because it's hit me: JC is a freak! lol I guess it'll grow on me.

Yeah, I think the sound was bad, but that was only PART of the problem!

As for it growing on me, I don't think I'll ever like that song. I hope ther rest are better than that!

Yeahhh, I just got done watching it and haven't been here in a while so it was the first place I came. Ehhh.....All day long I dream about Sex? I dunno bout that one.....kinda freaks me out. I definitly don't think those songs use JCs beautiful voice to teh full extent. I hope his CD gets a bit better.......sorry JC not feelin ya on this project.

kenny? Excuse me I think we all have a right to post out opinions on a PUBLIC board. The beginner of this thread was obviously being curtious of others feelings...hence teh reason why she took her opinion into another thread......you read the subject...you know what its about...if you don;t like it....we didn't tell you to click it.

Thanks for recognizing that fact. I really appreciate that fact that someone actually read what I said.

First of all, this was the FIRST time I'd heard any of these songs with the exception of "Some Girls". I didn't download the songs earlier even though they've been out for months.

Therefore I didn't have anything to "not feel it and bs" then.

And even if I had so what? It's called an opinion.

I'm really glad you added that last line. I was reading your post like you don't have to explain yourself to him. If you didn't like it, you didn't like it. Who is he to call your opinion bs. Kenny needs to keep it moving... I didn't see the show, but I have heard the little clips here and there of the songs and I wasn't feeling them either. I hoped there was something there better than the little bit I have heard. As an Nsync fan, I feel obligated to buy the CD, but from what I heard it sounds like boo boo, boo boo. (That was my impression of Dollar from Playa's Club)

First, I think he looked amazing ... as for the songs, honestly, they're still growing on me. And I'm not sure about Some Girls being the first single... maybe it's just me but I think he needed to come out stronger. *shrugs*
But no matter, I'm still happy for him to get his stuff out there and can't wait to catch him live.

Trying to type and talk on the phone is a no-no for me... right, Tik? :o
And wow, Kat was even watching tv too! Quite the multi-tasker! :p

I've got the "...with you... with you" part stuck in my head. :o

Anything that has "just" in it always ends up as "justin"... just like "joy" is always "joey".

I agree everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the song/performance.....I came on and saw the thread and thought to myself, well, I guess I am not the only one who was not very impressed by it:p

I agree that JC has an amazing voice and great stage presence, but it just wasn't showing up for me in that song! Personally, I like Build My World ALOT better and that is the kind of performance/song I prefer, but not liking one song doesn't mean that he won't have a great tour and other great songs!

Kenny, we respect your right to your opinion, respect ours:D

Yes, I agree. I think JC is capable of writing and performing much better music than this. I like "Some Girls" okay, but the sex one...I'm sorry, it has to be one of the stupidest songs I've heard in a long time. Maybe I'm a prude, and honestly I don't give a crap if I am, but I just thought it was a stupid, pointless song with little redeeming value. Maybe it didn't help that my parents happened to be in the room at the time and I was sitting there looking around all shifty eyed and hoping they weren't paying attention. *snort* But even with "Some Girls," which I do actually like, I didn't think the performance showcased his ability very well. He has so much potential, but I don't think he utilized it very well.

I wasn't actually feeling "Some Girls" and I think it's because I'd hate to picture him between two girls. :p What a man's dream! But I thought just because two girls are dancing together doesn't mean they're doing it to get attention. But who knows what clubs JC goes to.
