Unfortuantly Im not going to Guavaween, I would if I was though. Maybe he'll show up at Jingle Ball again ;) He needs to give me an autograph on a certain cd.

Guavaween is more than a radio station concert. Actually EVERY major radio station in Tampa has their own stage at Guavaween at a different part of the city. JC is MCing the 93.3flz stage all night from 6pm to 11pm. A lot of the performers hang out at the nightclubs afterwards. Last year Nick Carter was spotted at strip clubs after his show. It's also the same part of Tampa he got into that run in with the police.
Guavaween is an annual Halloween street party. They barricade off 27 city blocks of Tampa for an entire day and it runs from 11am to 4am the next day. It's a lot like Mardi Gras with a parade, crazy costumes, and the aforementioned concerts. There's about 15 nightclubs within the enclosed area too. It's mainly for adults, as there is a lot of "Girls Gone Wild" type stuff going on and A LOT of drinking.
About 100,000 people show up and it's the second biggest Halloween event in the U.S. I actually won 5th place in the costume contest two years ago. The 5th prize was lame, but I suppose being #5 out of 100,000 is pretty good.
The name actually comes from the Guava fruit + Halloween = Guavaween. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
