I live in Illinios, like.. kinda by Chi-town. Anyway... so it's like, really big over here right now... them making it to the world series for the first time in... whatever years, or.. are they already in? I dunno, I don't like sports lol... I just am kinda following this.
so what happened? I heard some guy interfered or something. I'm out of the know. They keep on talking about how messed up it was on the radio... yet, they don't say what happened. Just about some fan interfering with the ball.

This is what I heard this morning from a diehard Cubbies fan:
It was the 8th inning. Someone (he said but I can't remember) hit a foul and as they were going over to catch it, a fan from the crowd reached out and interfered with the player who was trying to catch the ball. After that, everything sorta fell apart.
My friend was devastated. He's from Chi-town and a huge Cubs fan. He told me the last time they won the pennant was in 1908. He also said they had to escort the fan out of the ballpark, but they have already posted his pic on tv so...

I did not understand all this baseball stuff.
Kim had to explain to me, lol.
I was like "Why are they playing the same games over and over and over?"
I don't know, I'm a football kind of girl.

Same here. But during the first season that I watched my H.S. team, it took me until like the second or third game to figure out what a first-down was:o. I had to ask my dad!

I was watching the game last night when the foul ball was hit and the fan interfered with the ball. I feel so bad for the guy. Apparently, the Chicago newspapers has released his name and the guy had to disconnect his phone at eight this morning and there are people outside his house. He couldn't go to work today. And while he was being escorted out of the stadium yesterday people were throwing beer at him and screaming at him. In my opinion this is all going too far.
Personally, I am rooting for the Yankees, but I want it to be the Yankees against the Marlins.
