Tonight, on channel 43 news, they had a quick story about Justin. While he was on vacation a little while ago he was staying in a really nice hotel and there was this HUGE spider on his bed. Well, it was reported that he got so scared that he had to call room service to kill it. *shakes head*
why would you waste air time on something stupid like that? I'd call room service too, spiders are nasty.

Well not only that, but that is old news! I read about that story in some magazine a few months ago!
Was that your local Fox station reporting that? Or another one?

Yeah, same here. In fact, I would have made them put me in a different room. No joke. I wouldn't be comfortable sleeping in the bed, knowing that there was a spider on it. I HATE THEM! :(

Maybe they did that report to warn potential travelers who are visiting Cleveland to beware of the hotel chains that "claim" that they are clean. If a spider is crawling in a hotel room, then the maid didn't clean it thoroughly enough. I'm surprised that happened to Justin. It sounds so funny the way that he said that he was scared of the spider. Sounds like a funny scene from "Seinfeld" or any sitcom. It might have been the humor segment that always closes the local news after a half-hour of serious news.

I heard him tell the story awhile ago.
I hate hate hate spiders too, but if I have a big sneaker around I'll zap it--so next time Justin--call me! LOL I know they're supposed to be beneficial and all, but to me the only good spider is a dead spider!

Spiders are so not my thing.... ask anyone... i don't care how big or small i get a feeling that they have it out for me and are just sitting there staring at me waiting to attack....
yes i know i have problems... i have actually talked to a therapist about it!.... hahaha that makes me sound like a freak....
no, i talked to a therapist that is my mom's friend.... she was at the house and i had a spider issue and after she laughed at me for about an hour she talked to me about it....
point of this.... I would have done the same thing Justin!:o

That would make sense except for he wasn't in Cleveland when it happened.

I heard about that a while back, also... and I say right on. I'd be calling room service, too. I don't do spiders. At all. I don't kill them, I don't deal with them... I just find someone who can.
LOL.
That's exactly how I am. LOL

OMG ME TOO! They literally control my life! I can just see a picture of a spider and I will break down crying.
My last apartment was right by a river, so during the summer I had a lot of them in my house... I would literally start crying and hyperventalating(sp?) when I stepped in my apartment, spider or no spider.
Once when I got home from work (around midnight) there was a spider, so I left my place and went back to work and played around on the computer until like 5am, because I couldn't go back for a while!
Did talking to a therapist help? My parents downloaded this book for me, on phobia's... and it's where you do these visulization(sp?) exercises. They kinda helped, but then I stopped doing them... I dunno why. :( I wanna get hyphotised (dude I so can't spell)!
So uh yeah, anyways, I know how you feel... lol!

I don't have a problem with spiders.
But any type of roach will freeze me in my tracks.
And those damned palmetto bugs in Miami almost made me wet my pants one time, because one of them was between me and the bathroom! GRRRR...

I use to get the damn palmetto bugs in my apartment in Orlando. I hated them things! Hard to kill! Sometimes I did get the random lizard in my place and I use to chase them around until I caught them to put them back outside (took me five hours one night lol).
Maybe I should have kept them in the place to help kill the palmetto bugs out, but heck sometimes the palmettos were the size of the lizards.

That is very stupid of the news crew to waste time like that on something as stupid as Justin being afraid of spiders that he had to call room service. Why couldn't he just take off his shoe and kill it?

Actually, I forgot who said it a while ago, but the story on Justin was probably a "kicker" story. A kicker story is the last story at the end of the news cast.. it's meant to be fun/entertaining. So it's not really that stupid-if that's where the story was in the newscast, that is.

Ohh I hate spiders too! Last summer, I had the worst experience with them EVER.
I won't share it because I don't want to make any of y'all uncomfortable but if I never see another spider again, it'll be too soon.
