Alright. The show last night was amazing.
He game out at like 8:15 and said he wanted to do an impromptu thing. He and his "best friend" Matt Morris had been singing out on the bus and Justin decided that he wanted everyone to hear him. So he came out and introducted Matt Morris. He was pretty good, but I'm sitting there like "OK...Katlin wants Justin now", lol.
Then Justin came back and reminded everyone to go to mattmorris.net "not .com, .net!!!!" over and over, lol.
(I don't really remember the exact order of the songs, I was a little too excited. ;))
The band started playing Inspector Gadget which somehow turned into Cry Me a River. I'm still not sure how.
He sang CMAR, Senorita, Last Night, Take it from Here, Like I Love You, parts from I'm Lovin It and Rock Your Body.
Let me tell you, that boy has some MAJOR built up anger. But they were all great performances.
Like I Love You was definitely my favorite. He went freakin crazy on that guitar. It was amazing.
Last Night was good too....before he started he was all like "Have any of you guys ever had your girl on the phone and she just goes crazy? And NOT a good crazy? And you try to be a gentleman but she's still crazy? Let me tell you I have NO patience for this". LOL, it was cute.
And the boy is definitely not a Red Sox fan (sorry Kim!). He was introducing his band and one of his keyboard players was from Boston and he goes "he's from Boston. Ha. Good luck!"...and then someone from backstage told him that it was 3-0 and the Sox were up and he goes "Ewww!". LOL.
There was this one part where he was beatboxing/dancing and the crowd started singing "Go Justin, Go Justin, Go Justin...." and he acted kinda embarrassed and told them to stop in a playful way.
And I got some major laughter out of Trace just chillin in the middle of the stage all night long taping everything. I assume he goes to all the shows, but does he always just stand on stage like that? It was funny.
And yeah, I went with my dad if you haven't read any posts about that. He seemed kind of bored the whole time, he just sat there. Then when it was over I asked if he liked it and his exact words were "This is the venue to see him in. None of that other bull****. Just music". LOL. And then he tried to sing I'm Lovin It all the way out to the car.
Oh, and Justin sang RYB (the last song) and clearly the show was over, because the stage crew were full on ripping down everything and unplugging microphones and everyone was leaving and there was this one girl sitting there talking to herself like "He's coming back y'all, he's coming back. I ain't leaving till I get my damn encore". I bet you she's still there. ;)
And on the way in to the show, I found 50 bucks in the parking lot and there was no one around who could have dropped, so I am now 50 dollars richer.
I think that's all. I just realized I'm not good at writing reviews, lol.
So yeah, I drove a total of 6 hours yesterday and 2 hours this morning in rush hour traffic in order to get back in time for my 8:30 class. And I have two tests today. But you know what? It was totally worth it. :D
