Britney Tour To Kick Off In March

Britney Spears' upcoming North American tour will kick off March 3 in a city yet to be announced, Billboard Bulletin reports. The trek will encompass 56 dates and will largely visit the West Coast through April. A tour of outdoor amphitheatres will begin in mid-July.
The dates will come in support of Spears' upcoming album, "Get in the Zone," due Nov. 18 from Jive. First single "Me Against the Music" featuring Madonna is No. 38 on Billboard's Hot 100 this week.
Spears grossed $43.7 million on her 2002 tour in support of the album "Britney." Fans who pre-order the upcoming album on the artist's official Web site will be eligible to win a trip to see Spears on tour next year.
