Go Ask Alice? If you haven't you should definitely read it. It's one of the best books I've ever read and I would reccomend it for everyone.

If you liked 'Go ask Alice' then you should definately read "The Basketball Diaries" and "Forced Entries" by Jim Carroll. It'll BLOW YOUR MIND... His writing is incomparable to any other author out there...

I saw the movie The Basketball Diaries... it was amazing. It made me realize how terrible drugs are and how they affect people.

As for "Go Ask Alice", you guys know that's not a real diary, right? They made it up, some psychologist wrote it. I mean, not like stuff like that doesn't actually happen all the time, but that specific girl that the book is about never existed.

thanks for the suggestions...

when I saw "the basketball diaries" it intrigued me, therefore now since you mention this, it further sparks something inside, I'll take a look for these soon

We had to read it for English class in HS. It's a pretty interesting read.
