How old is he? I'm assuming he's young, and young boys are immature. Get his side of the story, and then just know that you are too good to deal with that kind of chit.

He's 19 and has his mature and immature moments, but for the most part he is pretty mature. I don't know what is going on right now. This isn't like him at all. We haven't been getting along the greatest lately, but I didn't think it was going to come to this point. My only reasoning is he misunderstood what I said. I wanted to take a small break... NOT BREAK UP! I just wanted a period of time where we were kind of away from eachother because we both need some time to cool off and think. He apparently took it as completely breaking up so he's flaunting his newfound singleness in his away message... and that hurts. It's kind of my fault though, I suppose taking a break wasn't needed.

19 is old to me though, since I'm not even 17 yet. That sounds kind of bad now, 16 and 19. But he JUST turned 19 and I'm almost 17 so it's ok.

Well I got to talk to him finally! He called me at 8:30 in the morning. :rolleyes: He said the reason he had that as his away message was that he was just upset and mad at the time so he basically did it to piss me off, but I figured that's why he did that. He now understands what I meant by taking a break but he thinks the idea is stupid. I feel it would be beneficial though. Basically though, we're ok now and worked things out. He's kind of annoyed that I can't go visit him today though. (He goes to college 2 hours away.) I'm going tomorrow, he just needs to learn to be patient.
