That's what pretty much everyone has been asking me. The age difference doesn't bother me, because it's more of a maturity thing rather than the number of birthdays they've seen, but it's kinda weird to think that when I was 4 and eating crayons he was in the hospital with his girlfriend at the time delivering a baby.

He's also been divorced (only once, thankfully).

And he said that people say his son looks just like him.

Yeah, but I think anyone else in the same situation would change their perspectives. Sure, I'm still going to see/date him, but it changes the whole ballgame.

The shifts they have are 24hrs on and then 48hrs off, and the days he has off I'm working and the days I have off he's working, so I'm not going to see him until the BBQ Jason and Bonita are having on Saturday (Jason is another firefighter - B is his wife). So I dunno if I wanna pull him aside during that, or what. Cause I don't wanna talk to him about it over the phone, I wanna do it face to face.
