I'm really afraid to admit this, but I really really *really* like Ashanti's Christmas CD. I love the simplistic feel to it. The only song that I hear got carried away was Silent Night. At the end, the music completly overpowered her, and she faded out and then had to fight to stay audible. Can I go a step further and say that this would be an album that I would actually buy when it hits stores... Ok, I'm gonna go (points) over there now... Walking this way --->> :o

There are plenty of reasons to start your holiday shopping in music stores this month, as new albums, music DVDs and box sets galore drop from Jay-Z, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Coldplay, Johnny Cash, Tenacious D and the ever-popular "many-many more."

...Holiday Sweets: Getting back to her musical roots, Whitney Houston sounds extremely comfortable doing up Christmas classics on "One Wish" (Arista). Tastefully modernized in contemporary gospel fashion are "The First Noel," "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and a surprising (but it works) uptempo version of "O Holy Night." Daughter Bobbi Kristina makes her vocal debut on "Little Drummer Boy." B+

If you want, you can listen to a medley clip of the album at Arista's site. go to www.Arista.com click on where it says more audio, and then go to page 13. You will see a link for Whitney. I LOVE the samples. Whitney sounds so good. Bobbi-K sounds REALLY good too. Her mama passed on those genes!

The audacity to come in here and praise the atrocity that is Ashanti is a crime penalized with death. How dare u! But I can't talk.......I was a die hard "Britney's talent equals fecal matter" supporter and I think I might buy her album so I guess I can let it slide. This one time! :hah:
