Well, Christmas is coming up, and I want to get my boyfriend something. But he pretty much has everything! And the stuff that he doesn't have, he can get anytime he wants because his job pays him very well, unlike mine. :p

So my question is, what do you get someone like that? I'm trying to think of things that maybe I could do for him... like not get him material things. Of course a few little presents... but what should my main present be?

And of course when I ask him what he wants, he just says that he wants me. I always just roll my eyes at him (But inside, I'm really like this::love: ). So he is NO help at all!

He is SO special to me and I love him so much. I would love to do something special for him. If you guys can think of anything... PLEASE let me know!

THANKS SO MUCH!

Does he like gadgets?

Try someplace like Sharper Image or Brookstone.

http://www.brookstone.com/world.asp

http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/index.jhtml

They both have stores in the Sacramento area.

well, IMO, it sounds like he has all the material things he wants or needs, and that he obviously is crazy about you and doesn't expect alot of material things.....so I would do something amazingly romantic and crazy, and it doesn't have to cost alot of money to show someone you really care!! As a mom I always loved the gifts that my kids put alot of thought and love into and not alot of money.....it always meant more just knowing how much they cared to take the time to do something special....that can work with your boyfriend too, it isn't just a mom thing...lol;)

OMG That's exactly what I want to do! He doesnt need me to buy him anything. So that's why I want to do something special for him. But I can't really think of anything. My Dad suggested that we go to a bed and breakfast, but I can't really afford something like that. :( Any suggestions? :D

Last year I bought my boyfriend a couple things but the one thing he loved was the home made picture frams I made with pics of us in them. I took pictures from all the things we had done together and made picture frams out of bamboo and all sorts of things. If you go to an arts and craft store they can help you with Ideas. Or make a scrapbook of pics. Just an idea.

I think the coupon book is a really cute idea.... or maybe you could mix up both the coupon book and scrap book/photo album idea....

combining the two would be different and cute!:D

Hey Karen! That is a good idea... I think I might do that.

And *CareBear33* that is also a good idea!

I think I will do both of those things... now I just need to think of things for the coupon book. :o Can you guys help with that too? LOL I'm horrible at this kinda stuff.

Oh and if you have other idea's, that would be GREAT as well! I could always use more! The more the better! I luff you f0ckers!

Oh and yeah he has his own house, so that WOULD be a good idea (cleaning it), but the f0cker is always so clean, there would be nothing for me to do! Hey, maybe that WOULD be a good coupon then... :o :p J/K Oh but I could do his laundry! Yay! :D

Oh and we went to a tennis match for our first date. :( So I can't really do that... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Oh I just edited my above post! LOL I just said that our first date was at a tennis match, not some nice resturant or something. So that's hard... but for our second date, we did go to this nice place for lunch! I could make that a coupon! YAY!

And yeah, he keeps his car pretty clean as well. Thank you SO MUCH for helping me! Seriously, you have no idea how great this is! I luff you!

Maybe you could find out from his Mom what his favorite meal was when he was growing up and make that for him.......I'm not that creative. You could make a lunch and have a picnic at the park on the tennis court.....maybe an after dark picnic so you don't have to dodge tennis balls lol

Great idea's loony! But I'm meeting his parents for the first time on Monday! I'm already nervous enough, I dunno if I could ask his Mom that. :o :(

I like the tennis court idea! I wish it wasnt so cold out, though. But maybe I could make that a coupon, and he could save it for when the weather gets better? :D

Yeah, we'll see about the Mom thing... I'm so scird! :(

We'll have to see about the tickets... I don't really have a lot of money, so that might be hard.

I LOVE the idea with the pancake thing! My sister totally bought some heart shaped pancake maker things! I will see if they have anymore. She bought them a while ago at Ross, so they are probably gone... but maybe they have more? THANKS SO MUCH! :D

For the guy who has everything... you bring him love... (you bring him love) 'cause the guy who has everything can't get enough... of your love...

I know I'm not the only one here who thought of that when going in this post... :)

But hey, I'm a guy, I know what guys like... Well, I know what I like. I'm not very materialistic. I'd much rather you spend 10.00 and take 2 weeks making something than spending 50.00 on something that took you 10 minutes to buy in the mall. Does he like art or things like that? Be creative... The best thing my fiancee ever gave me was a picture she painted/created for me. She took a picture that I really liked, painted it, added a border to it, and jazzed it up with some different things... I loved it... Maybe you can make him a CD with some songs that describes your relationship and write a poem around the lyrics. For example, you could say something like "I Wanna Love You Forever", because "This I Promise You", if you should ever doubt "My Love" remember that "I Will Always Love You"...

You get the idea? Oh maybe plan a romantic night for him at his house... See if you can get in while he isn't there... He walks in sees rose petals and stuff leading to a bath you have drawn for him, etc...

If you want to check out a bed and breakfast try to go online to one of the hotel booking sites. I don't know where you live, but I took my fiancee to a "pre-honeymoon" (as my mom called it) to Manhatten, and I got a GOOD deal on a two night stay at the Plaza from Expedia.com. It was like 200.00 for both nights. That is REEEEEEALLY good for that hotel. But for a smaller bed and breakfast Im sure you can get a pretty good deal if you look around...

Nooky with Nicki!

OK, so I like to rhyme....

How about a behind the scenes tour of ARCO? Not romantic, but unusual and interesting.

That's a good one, Karen!

But, he works in the media as well, and he goes and covers the Kings game, so... :o LOL He already knows what goes on behind the scenes!

I think you have enough ideas to combine some and have the greatest gift ever:D
I don't know where you live and what the climate is, etc, but I think it is really romantic to find a special place, secluded, with a breathtaking view of the sunset or sunrise (or both;)).....picnic basket with some favorite foods and wine, the special cd you created  and then your coupon book...you know him, put in some special ones for things you know he likes to do, like a night out with the boys, or running an errand for him that you know he hates to do, etc....surprise him with some special little romantic touches to his place, like candles, etc.....

Actually, we don't dance! LOL We are the two white people who don't dance. I will dance after I have a few drinks, but he's not into it.. or that would have been a good idea! :p

I like the movie one, too! :D

Yeah peepers! There sure are a lot of you!

I peep because I don't know what to say...

I'm stupid when it comes to boys, hence me not having a boyfriend... *wanders out*

*wanders back* It does sound like you're getting a lot of good ideas, so this is good. Yay!

I'm stupid around boys, too! Unless I have a few drinks, then I'm more relaxed.

But you will find the right guy where you won't be stupid! That's what happened to me!
