Ahhh what a great time! It sucked that we couldn't really hear them singing, but it still sounded good and the music sounded fantastic. Poor Derek felt bad LOL.

So y'all... Krissy and I had fun talking to the guys after the show. We happened to notice they had Babysitters Club books sitting there at this place so we were freaking out about it LOL. Then Ces notices them, among other books and starts reading us jokes... ohh it was just funny, you had to be there. I <3 his lip ring!! It's on the side and I had forgotten how sexy it is. :love:

Derek is just awesome. His hair is totally different from last time I saw him. You will see when I get the pics back :) So I said I loved it, and he said he liked mine too, with all the random braids in it. He told me it was elvish. "I'm an elf, just so you know. You'd make a good elf." Me: "Thanks... ?" Then he laughs and shrugs. He was so sweet, asked my name and asked where Krissy and I were from, how old we were. He said I look young. Woohoo :)

Anyways! I <3 them, they rule. I can't wait to see them again now! Derek thanked us like 4 times for coming... so cute.

I finally found the actual story of how Billy and tHrOnE became friends. Here it is. SCM is SoundCheckMagazine.


SCM: ...but aside from that, more recently, and you know I was going to ask, but you recorded with Billy from Good Charlotte. What’s the hook-up narrative there?

Ces: Yeah, that was basically from a festival in Hartford about two or three years ago. They wound up playing right after us on this little tiny side-stage radio festival with Creed headlining I believe.

SCM: Yeah, that was the “Preparation H” Stage 4 right?

Derek: (laughing) Exactly. So Billy watched the whole set, and liked how we sounded, and talked to Ces afterwards and got a cd from him. We actually all hung with the band afterwards for a bit and found out that they dug Silverchair, a band we’re HUGE fans of. So we met them there, and maybe like only a couple of weeks later we received an email in our band account from him where he said how he liked us and the cd, and so forth, and long-story-short, we didn’t believe him...more so didn’t believe it was actually him. So we asked him a bunch of proof questions to make sure it was actually Billy from Good Charlotte, and he soon after invited us to meet him at a Poughkeepsie show, at “The Chance” where we went and were still 50/50 as to whether this was some big prank or not from some other band. So we found their bus, and knocked on their door, and sure enough out came Billy who told us he was expecting us and invited us onboard, where the whole band was then and there listening to our cd and mouthing every single word to it. It was pretty surreal. Ever since then too, we’ve been talking to Billy on the phone just about every single week now.

SCM: ...and he recorded some material with you recently too...

Derek: He recorded some stuff with us and then recently he just went into the studio and produced some of our stuff.

Justin: He actually played guitar on one of the tracks called “Brave” too. Its now on that new WBCN sampler cd I think too.

Oh WOW you guys have no idea... and I wish you did! I wish you could have been with me to see that last night. OMG. That was one of the best shows I have ever been to. I knew seeing them acoustic would be awesome, but I was completely blown away. Derek's voice is just incredible. It was such a fantastic night, and I had so much fun!!
I drove 2 hours out of my way to pick up 2 girls named Kirsten and Michelle, so my driving time was definitely something the guys commented on later! Derek totally remembered me and even remembered how old I am LOL! I <3 him, not kidding. During the show, he kept saying thanks to all the out-of-staters, and he even said where we were from! (Kirsten and Michelle are from MA, but like 5 mins from Nashua, NH) He was too cute. The new songs are so awesome and I just can't wait for the new cd.

After the show, Derek walked up to me and gave me a big hug! I was very pleasantly surprised, considering he didn't hug the other 2 girls! :love: He is so sweet, I love talking to him. By the end of the night I think he had hugged me 4 or 5 times!

We also talked with Ces for a while, but I can never seem to have an actual convo with Justin LOL.

Umm hey Krissy.... Adam is Derek's TWIN BROTHER. :eek: LMFAO! I kinda talked to him last night, and that's what he told me. I didn't believe him, though, because his last name is different! But it's true... he really is. Oops. :p Too funny eh? So now I am lusting after the twins..... hmmm interesting.

Derek was like "WHAT?! How does he have that?" and he was saying how Steve was a sneaky bastard or something... we were like I don't know. So he yells to Justin, and Justin is like "Billy gave it to him." Derek's like "ohhhhh....right." And they were talking about that and I was like "So Billy's the sneaky bastard." LMAO. It was just funny. Maybe it's not to people who were not there, I dunno.
It was like... almost strange though, to be talking about Billy like he's just some random guy, their friend.

It is an inside joke with the band because one time someone thought adam was derek with a different hair cut at a show in boston, ma. So ever since that day there has been this inside joke. So that is the deal folks. It isn't true. We love adam though. He is no twin, he is simply one of a kind. Perfect. Happy New Year (soon)!

Yea, I know.. it’s been a while since we have written in this thing. Blah blah blah...but whatever, BIG NEWS people!!!! CD RELEASE! CD RELEASE! CD RELEASE! We are poised and ready to release a FULL LENGTH album in February (most likely at the Webster show, but shhhhhhhh, you didn't hear that from me). On the week of the January 25th, we head into the studio with Billy Martin lending his musical ear as our producer, to record the remaining 4 songs to complete our album, which by the way is going to be called “Balladry”. Then after that we send the cd’s out to be duplicated. mmmmmmm - seriously, you have no idea how long I have wanted to write this very thing in our journal, and announce that we're releasing a FULL album. But now that the moment is here, I’m kinda at a loss for words. Me and my 2 cousins (who, by the way are the most ridiculous gamers you have ever seen) have been working real hard writing and recording all these songs. Each and every one of these song means sooooo much to us!! Everything we have has gone into these recordings, and we are SOOO proud to be able to finally release these song children into the world. We have been playing a lot of our new songs at live shows for the past few months, and ALL those tracks will be on the new album, along with some other songs that we still haven’t played live yet. We hope you all enjoy it!! We will post more information about this as soon as WE know the full details. The night air is tinged with anticipation, as we wait…….

It is NOW 100% official! On Saturday, February 28, 2004 @ The Webster Theatre in Hartford, CT - tHrOnE will release their new full length CD entitled "Balladry".

The new CD will feature 11 ALL new tracks, 7 which were produced by Billy Martin of Good Charlotte (and one song that he played some guitar on as well). So there you have it, more details will be released closer to show date!

The show was fabulous last night.
The first band was soooo whack I think they're name was Shbeez and they were seriously the biggest dorks ever lol.
Then was some band i didn't know but the lead singer was wearing a laceup tunic therefore resembling Jesus.
The next band was Carrie and I's favorite (come on Carrie you know it) The singer was enough entertainment to last me a few more days. I sweat he was in a boyband before cause these moves he was coming up with were great.

Throne was kickass as usual. Not too many people stayed for thier set lol. They looked great and sounded awesome.

We stayed for bout an hour after and talked with them and it was so much fun though we were freezing our asses off. Ces and I were playing with Elvis (hand puppet lol) and this little girl came up to us and started showing us her Elmo. SOOOO cute lol. Then I made Elvis bite Elmos head off and she screamed and ran. She was absolutely adorable haha. I told her to say hi to Derek with the hand pupett and she was like "HI DEREK" lol so cute.

I'm still debating on going tonight but I most likely will. Derek said him and Ces would find out where I live and hunt me down if I don't so that's just reason enough. They told us that after tonights show they're going to Maryland :) to finish their album avec Billy ;)

Oh yeah this is the funniest. I didn't know how to get back to the highway so they were lik Hey follow us we're going the same way so I'm like OK! lol So I'm following them and we're going in circles and getting stuck in dead ends and I realize they don't know where the hell their going lol. Finally we come to this like strip mall where theres food and such and they pull over to the Wendys Ithink to ask for directions. SO I'm sitting waiting realizing they aren't getting directions they're getting food!!!
Boys lol. They probably hadn't realized I was still following them but after that we went right to the highway and off they went.

i stole a poster too :) well not stole.. but it was on the wall and it was pretty. Ya fun times and Carrie had the greatest shirt on EVER.

The guys were incredible as always. Each time I see them I fall in love even more. Especially after talking with them afterwards. They are so much fun!

Ces had these silver sparkly gloves on resembling Michael Jackson. (not during the show LOL) "He gets a bad rap but he's a nice guy!" LMFAO. So... like Krissy said, it was freezing since these idiots left the door open and some of us are not smart enough to wear coats. Ces is like "You want to wear my gloves?" I told him he could wear mine, they are fingerless with skulls on them (they rule). So we traded gloves. He ended up going outside to load equipment and he came back in and was soooo cute. He was like "Feel my fingers!!!! Your gloves are baaaad!!" HAHA! So I had to grab his hand of course and feel how cold his fingers were. ;) I felt bad!

Krissy you forgot to mention that you had them all sign your kickass bag with the silver marker!! :)

So last night was interesting. We got to Lupos and it was packed with people. The guys were opening instead of headlining and I was excited for them to be playing for so many people. The first band was a girl band, I forget their name. They were decent, and they all had kickass hair. The singer was really nice, I saw her after the show and told her they were good.

tHrOnE was on second and I hated that they had a shorter set but it was outstanding anyway. They sounded great. This stupid girl with a mohawk was screaming at the top of her lungs that they sucked and I almost punched her. I was so pissed. Finally she left. This crazy girl got up on stage too! I was like WTF?!
Oh and Justin was so into the moment he like, fell into the drums. OMG priceless. :laugh: He recovered quite nicely though LOL.

Krissy I wish you had stayed!! Of course they came over after you left. Dammit. I did tell Derek that you were there though! He was like "Really??" Haha. Oh and Ces swears he didn't cut his hair but I am telling you it looked shorter last night than Friday night. I dunno, weird. He cut his gloves! The index fingers are missing on both of them! I was like "What is this craziness?!" LOL

So yes. Today they are driving to Maryland. They are staying at Billy's for a week and are finishing up the record. How jealous am I?? :)

OMG and I finally talked to Justin!! I figured him out I think. If you talk to him, he will definitely talk to you. But I guess he just isn't good at initiating conversation or something. But it's cool. I love his eyes. Yep, Jus definitely has great eyes and lips.

So hmmm what else. I'm bummed I have to wait a whole month now to see them again.

Yes about my bag I totally forgot! I have this bag that resembles a radio pretty closely and I want to do something really cool with it. So I decided I was gonna get bands to sign it cause I always have them sign something lame. So This girl at the show happened to have a silver marker and I was like that'd be awesome if I oculd use that lol so she gave it to me! LOL So I got the guys to sign it lol course they all commented on how much they liked it lol. Derek would look prettty with one.

So yeah Lupos was cool. I can't believe how much cooler it is than the old one. I really liked that chics hair from that band and her lip ring looked so cool lol. I checked thier website out today. They're called Can't Face the Falling. Throne sounded SOOOOO good last night. Like much better than the mini stages we seen them on lol. They also looked good Maybe they're trying harder for a bigger crowd.

I SOOOO knew that was gonna happen. When I left there they were. I was so scared that my car was gonna be towed lol. I woulda cryed. But seriously soo many people were parked there too. There was a car right behind me too! Anyways... yeah I wonder who that chic was. She was really annoying me.

Montys Fan Club was awesome!! I wished I had stayed I woulda had them auto the bag :) Especially the lead singer.

It was funny Carrie and I were watching and I turned to her and I was like they remind me a bit of Count The Stars and she was like "OMG I was just about to say that". In a nutshell they remind me of a big throw together of CTS, Yellowcard and Catch 22. I wore my shirt today lol. So many people at work were like "Who's Monty??" lol. It's really cute. A tad big but cute. The EP is actually good as well Carrie lol. For the 3 songs we got lol. The first song is real kickass. I'm so excited they're playing at Level 27!!! YAYYY Stacy now you get to see them.

Last night was such a blast. tHrOnE put on a fantastic show as they always do. They played a new song called Loner, and I loved it. I am dying for Balladry (the new cd) on Saturday!!

Most of you know that I have an enormous crush on Adam. Adam is close friends with the guys and works with them. He's gorgeous, and so talented and smart. He has websites with his artwork and film work, and he is just amazing. ANYWAY! He hasn't been at the last few shows. Last night we pulled in to the Sad Cafe parking lot and we saw him outside with the guys. I freaked. LOL
It was so funny because Kirsten, Michelle and Allee were all trying to get a picture of him for me, while they were setting up and during tHrOnE's set. Well after the show, Allee embarassed the hell out of me by asking Adam if I could get a picture with him. I love her. I said "I swear I'm not a psycho." And Adam said "I'm a psycho so it's okay." Then Allee was having trouble with my camera and Adam wanted her to take another pic because he wasn't ready or something. (Like I minded...his arm was around me, hello!) So I have 2 hot as hell pics with him now.

We ended up hanging out with the guys and Adam for EVER. (along with Eater and Steve some of the time. Eater is the merch boy. Steve does sound.) It was a great time. I always have so much fun just chilling with them. Especially with Derek and Ces... I feel like I have known them for a long time. We can just sit there and tease each other, it's cool. And finally getting to talk to Adam was nice. :) He's awesome and so nice. :D

When Steve came over and sat down, I said "You're Steve." And he said "You're Carrie." I was like "Whoa, how did you know that??" "You have an awesome site. The pictures." So apparently he reads the board but doesn't post LOL! I thought that was cool and amusing.

Poor Derek was really tired. Steve brought them fruit cups to eat at the merch table and Derek said it was the only thing he'd eaten all day. Later I offered to buy him food (they have food there) but of course he wouldn't let me. They were gonna go to Denny's afterwards anyway. We talked about all kinds of random things. I told the guys that I am bringing my friend from Indiana next weekend, so they have to meet her. Derek is so awesome....
Derek: "What's her name?"
me: "Stacy."
Derek: "How old is she?"
me: "I'm probably not supposed to tell you that."
Derek: "Is she coming just because, or for the show..." (something like that)
me: "I played you guys for her and she really wants to see you. So you have to meet her. And we're going to some other shows too."
Derek: "Who are you going to see?"
me: *looks at Ces* "Someone you don't like!"
Derek: "Who?"
me: "Mest."
Derek: *rolls eyes* "Ugh."
me: "I told you!"
LMFAO. Fellow tHrOnE fans - PLEASE don't say anything to them about not liking Mest! :x

Other random comments:

- My new camera is ghetto.
- Allee rocks my socks and she needs to come Saturday.
- Ces wears shirts just for the hell of it, even if he doesn't know what they mean.
- Talk to Justin and he will talk to you. He's very sweet. :)
- Ces doesn't know his gang signs. (Neither do I)
- Eater wants to have a threesome with Kirsten and Stevers.(Sievers)
- Derek said we should play video games on the van with them.
- Adam is a Christian Buddhist. And don't laugh, it's not funny.
- Pirates rule.

And of course...
- "Gay moments" make me extremely happy. Thank you for that, Adam and Derek. <33

What I've Learned From Derek Trafton:

1.) Billy is really cheesy.
2.) Michelle does not exist because she is not a Lord Of The Rings fan.
3.) Pink is good.
4.) Gel is a no-no.
5.) Phones are evil and annoying.
6.) Loving to look at photos of yourself does not make you vain.
7.) Long sleeves under short sleeved button ups = good look.
8.) Taco Bell rules.
9.) Video games are life.
10.)If Billy says you will become addicted to a video game, just accept it, because you will be.

OMG I forgot about the lizard thing! Derek said to me "Don't you think Adam looks like a lizard?" And I was like "Uhh...." So Adam looks right at me intensely and sticks his tongue out like a lizard.... EXCUSE ME WHILE I DIE. Then he's like "I'm not a lizard." while still looking at me.

Haha Kriss! We were discussing hair... it's a long story but I asked them what color streaks to put in my hair. Adam immediately said blonde. Derek said something like "I always go for pink. I like that." :eek: So I told them I can't do pink since I work at the bank (which got us talking about my tattoo also, which Adam liked. Bonus.) and so we settled on blonde. BUT... before we even had this conversation, I had been thinking of getting just the wash-out kind... PINK. Too weird. So I'm thinking of still doing that. Any suggestions?
