Originally, we couldn't get ours to work because we had this virus type thing in there, but it's all good now, so we hope. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I put in the Windows 98 CD and did a whole system scandisk/defrag type thing, and I got it to work, but only through Real Player instead of Nero.

Deja is possibly one of hte greatest cd's I've ever boughten. Each song has it's own unique touch that makes it not sound like anything I've ever heard before. Greatness...... I can't ever see them being better on the 3rd cd but thats what I thought after YFW. So we'll have to see.

Well girls...once again Brand New did not fail to be the most amazing band I have ever seen in my life! :D Is it time for the spring tour yet? :)

The adventure was certainly interesting to say the least! We left about 7am, and we're driving along for about three hours and I say something about the tickets I thought I had been holding the whole ride up. So we look in the envelope, and NO TICKETS...yeah, freaking out time, because we're three hours from home, we have six hours to go and if we turn back to look for them, there was no way we were getting to the show! Luckily the nice folks at TM Canada said they would replace our tickets for us, and we could pick them up at the Skydome by six...so then the race was on to make sure to get there in time to get them...Everything was going along just fine until the low fuel light comes on and there is no sign of a gas station anywhere for miles...luckily the stars were with us that day, because we just made it...the car was seriously not wanting to accelerate anymore! We get to the Skydome in time, and get our tickets...WOO...and then head for the hotel...we took Seb's advice and stayed at the hotel they always stay at, and it was definately a good choice. Of course when the guy at the front desk mentioned the breakfast, we had to contain our laughter because all we could think about was Seb going..."and they have free breakfast too!" :)

OK, so on to the show...the opener started out ok, but turned into a male version of Eisley, and I was not impressed at all...I mean the music was good, but the guys voice, I just didn't like at all. Luckily for us, they left soon after and Brand New was up next! The crowd was freaking insane, I swear those Canadians must not get out much. The best was when some twit decided to use my collarbone for a launching pad...Yeah, it still hurts like a bitch. The stage sucked ass...I was in front of Vinnie of course...:love:...and I couldn't even see Garrett at all, and hardly Jesse sometimes. Seriously, I could watch Vinnie play all day, and the way he moves up there on stage...:eek:...and lets not forget the Sic Transit part when he pants...I'm surprised I'm still alive! :) Setlist was pretty much the same they had been doing, so no surprises.

After the show, we waited around pretty much until everyone left inside...the security there was cool as hell...there were about ten of us, waiting inside by the door where the band was...the guy was about to make everyone leave, because we were basically the only ones left in there, and right at that moment, Jesse came out and saved us! :) He's super...we got to talk to him for awhile. My friend had brought him cookies and she told him we left them in the hotel because we took a cab to the show, and he got all excited and asked us where we were staying...we told him and he was all, "You're staying at a much better place than we are!" And then he told us where...now why it didn't occur to us to mention that we would just drop the cookies off to him still baffles us...he said it was probably better that he didn't have them because he had gained too much weight sitting at home these past few weeks! :laugh: We gave him David's message about him loving them and so then we talked about that concert for awhile...he cut his hair...much hotter. WOW, but still not my Vinnie!

Speaking of Vinnie, at the end of the show, he leaned over to touch people's hands, and the freaks pulled him down off the stage! He lost his hat too in the crowd...when we were waiting in the lobby, there was this girl with a hat on, and when Jesse came out, she told him that it was Vinnie's and wanted Jesse to sign it...Jesse told her that Vinnie was sad he had lost it because it was his favorite hat and asked if he could have it back to give to him and the girl acted like she didn't want to give it back...Jesse even offered to buy it from her, so I guess finally she felt bad and gave it back...FREAK.

Of course on the way back, we had to get stopped for the random search at the border...all we wanted to to was get home, and we were there forever!!! We were afraid they were going to take our alcohol away from us in the search, but I guess the girl felt bad because we had to wait for so long, so she just let us go ahead and leave without looking in our car.

It's short, and it flips up in the front...my friend and I got a picture with him, and she sent me the link to the one of her and him, but you can't really see the hair too good in the picture...I assure you however that it is mad hot...plus he put Vinnie's sweaty hat on his head and messed it up before our pictures...he was fresh from the shower when he came out! :angel:

I don't remember setlists...that's what Jenn does, but they play the same songs every time...They definately played No Seatbelt Song though.

They open with Tommy Gun and end with Sic Transit...that's the only order of the setlist I remember!

I am home.

I adore Brand New. They... wow. That's all I got to say about that. Denali(don't know if I'm spelling that right at all.. is that the name of the yellow dino from Gumby?) was pretty annoying. Like longest song ever of them just making noises. Piebald was okay, they reminded me of Soco a little... only not as good. Didn't see the first dude.. don't remember his name either.

Really like Brand New.. yup, big time. I had a really annoying chick behind me who like to squeal at the highest pitch heard by human ears after every song. So very unnecessary. I've been physically abused in the ear..

On the way there we stopped at a rest stop... NUNS galore. I'd say that was one of my highlights of the night. I was waiting for them to break into "I will follow himmm, follow him whever he may goooo... there isn't an ocean to deep(too deep) a mountain so high you can keeeeep, keeep him awayyyy" yanno, like Sister Act. They call eachother "sister" oh man, so great. I was really excited. If I thought God wouldn't strike me on the spot I would have taken a picture.


Now, what annoys me is I always wanna say good bye to Carrie and Stacy and I never get to. The freakin' crowd like doesn't allow it ever... I thought we were all right there but, I turned around and I saw miles of faces I didn't know.

If someone hasn't gone to see Brand New, go see them. NOW. RUN! Go very quickly to a show near you.

That sucks that we got seperated again Andrea without saying goodbye, I saw you guys turn around to look for us when you went up the stairs, but I guess you didn't see us. :( We looked outside for you, but we figured you had left...we didn't wait around for them to come out either, but for a few minutes...the scene was much to teenie screamish for us, so we left.
