Dood. Fraternity Life. Okay, granted I was never big on fraternities even before I saw the episode tonight, but this junk is seriously screwed up. So they make the pledges wear shirts with racial slurs and "MORE WAR IN IRAQ!" written on them, and if you don't wanna wear them and drop out, it's chalked up as "They never wanted to be in badly enough" and "It's just a little humiliation. Everyone goes through it." Wtf? Am I just too naive to the way these things work?...I mean, is this stuff usual for frats? If I had come across any one of the pledges wearing those shirts last year I would have kicked them square in the gonads for even helping to promote this type of crap. I feel like going to that frat house and egging it right now.
Bah humbug. I had a bad rehearsal today and I'm rambling. I only need to see that heinous Dana Carvey chips commercial to make my day complete.

Fraternities are always complaining that people view them as redneck, musclebound, moronic bullies who get drunk as poo have no sense of decency. It's just absurd to me that they seem to strive for comfirmation of these stereotypes more often than not.

Ok, I'm guessing you don't like that commercial..........
And if so, I'm glad that I'm not the only one that absolutely loathes that commercial. It makes my skin crawl. "One for you, one of you, one for you and three for me" (or whatever he says). It is so irritating. Lmfao:laugh:! Seriously, a vein bursts in my forehead every time I see it. I know Dana Carvey used to be cool. He is no longer. He's not funny. He's not in touch with what's funny. It's painful to watch him try:sick:.
Okay, I feel better now:biggrin:.
