As some of you know, the adjustment to college has been incredibly hard for me. I've come here to vent my problems, and you've all been a saving grace for me. But my dad said that if I keep acting so depressed it's going to drive my friends away. So I'm truly sorry if any of my sad, depressing college threads have caused any of you to view me in a different light. I am not a different person, I'm just still trying to adjust to college life.

I don't want to lose any of you as friends because of my behavior. That would truly devastate me.

So again, I'm sorry if those threads are annoying.

Of course, I've met LanieDad, and he's a great guy. But he doesn't know all of us, and he doesn't know how much all of us love you (even though I tried to tell him!). We won't ever turn on you!

Maybe you'll drive your roommate away, but if you do, at least you won't have to work around her wheelchair when you've got to GO! :wink:

College is tough. Some have been there and some are currently going through similar things. So there is no need to apoligize.

Just keep your chin up! It will get better. I promise! :D

I'd say what you're experiencing is perfectly normal for anybody...not just you. You are lucky that you're close enough that you can go home once in a while. When I was in college my family moved all the way across the country....no, not to get away from me :rolleyes:. My father's job transferred him.

My friends kept me going as well as that weekly phone call home.
