That was really one of the big upsets of the night! Clay Aiken won over all those big names for Fan's Choice! Even over Justin Timberlake, his tougher male competition. I thought it would be a Justin-dominated night. Proof that Clay was a contender all along. I didn't think that he would get male artist because those other three have been around longer. Kid Rock's win was understandable because of "Picture" and his more recent appearances on TV. He's also a good and diverse artist too. But back to Clay, this was a shocker tonight and I'm sure it surprised the more established artists that you just can't relax and think that you'll win it on the spot. That underdog will come from right under you and snatch that award! And that's what Clay did! "Measure of A Man"'s been out some 33 days, and Clay wins his first major award! Now if he can do this at the Grammys, he'll really be on his way! (They like those kinds of pop albums and they'll nominate him a lot.)

Mah boy Clay won!! :D :eek: Congrats Clay! You deserved it! I'm so glad he got to win the Fan's Choice Award - I wanted him to win this one more than the other one he was up for (if he was going to win just one - like he did). :)

I loved how Kimmie stood up and was just beaming and grinning, clapping and cheering for Clay - you can tell how close those two are. I think they make the cutest roomies as well. :D

I also LOVED the Cluben duet - Best performance of the night for me! Did y'all notice that they received the only standing ovation of the night?! - just shows you that true talent will win people over. People need to stop thinking of them as "cheesy talent show contestants" - they proved tonight that they are just as, if not, more talented than those other performers tonight. They brought it! These guys deserve to make it in the biz like everyone else. Singers get their big breaks in different ways - they are no different from other artists out there now.

Man, I voted for Clay a lot, but I figured it was all in vain because Justin "I-Win-Everything" Timberlake was in the category. When they said Clay won, I seriously screamed. I was like are you kidding me? I'm glad he did win though.
