On the night Mariah landed in the Philippines for the first time, members of the Philippine Mariah Carey FanClub followed Mariah into her hotel in Makati City where we got a chance to talk to her people while in the lobby. One of them was Lionel Cole, the co-writer of Through The Rain and Mariah's piano player for the tour.
While talking, I was able to ask him on Mariah's plan of releasing new album for 2004. According to him, they are already gathering new material and planning some concepts but it might be impossible to release it next year due to Mariah's future commitments after the world tour. He rather added that it is more possible that the new album will be released in 2005.
Mr. Cole also commented on how Charmbracelet is doing on the chart and sales wise. "It's doing well. Slowly but surely", he said.

see......she needs to stop touring...she's Mariah...she doesn't tour....there should be an album of all new material every year and a half from her. She spoiled me. She can't stop now. :(
