Doesn't "Shadow" sound so much like Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You"?

Is it me, or doesn't Britney Spears' song "Shadow" sound a little bit like Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You?" The pace and sway of Britney's song is very close to Avril's song. Even on some of the verses and choruses. I noticed that the Matrix produced this song too; maybe they didn't notice that when they recorded it. But it's a very nice ballad for Britney, a little different from her.

I think its her best balled! I love this song and yes it does sound like Avrils song.

Not to me. I agree with hotboiii it's her best ballad. Although i think Everytime would be better live.

Shadow and BOM are the 2 best songs on this cd. Yeah, Shadow does have an Avril feel to it. The cd is good, but I really think Brit should have stuck to songs of pop/rock and not went so much towards hiphop.

I love the Beat of Toxic.
