Wooohoooo !! The final sales are in ! Britney sold 605,000 copies of 'In The Zone' in its first week !! Even though it's less than what 'Britney' sold, you can bet your butt that it's an AWESOME figure for today's state of the music business. To give you an idea, the runner up (G Unit) only sold HALF of what Britney sold. The Beatles whom I honestly thought would do better took the 5th spot with 268,000 copies sold.

Yeah! I was a slight bit surprised that Britney debuted at #1 and really surprised by how great a lead she had over the #2 album! It wasn't even close! I expected G-Unit, Jay-Z, Blink-182, and The Beatles to make it a tighter race. I don't like how all these music reports say she ONLY sold 600,000+ copies. "ONLY"??? That's almost twice as much as anyone else sold that week! Britney should be proud! I LOVE the new album! Way to go, Britney!
