It doesn't really say why it closed...

but that sucks. It was a good site.

They could be pulling a Ruben. Say they are shutting down just to generate more publicity for the site. With the amount of hits they were getting it should start up again soon or someone will start a similar site.

I read it wrong, I thought it said it was shutting down BECAUSE of financial problems, but I read it again and I see what it says..hmm very weird.

Maybe it was too much work. :confused: That's pretty dumb though, just giving up like that...at the least he could just not update while he gets back on track

That sucks. I liked that site. They always had good pics. I liked downloading the videos of Britney. I downloaded her whole Primetime interview that I missed. I hope another site will come around that let's you download Britney video besides downloading on Winmx or Kazaa.

I found this on Popdirt.com about the GoBritney site.

Ok what I don't get is isn't it the same as if you were downloading a video of Britney on Winmx or Kazaa? It's free if you download on the GoBritney site as well if you were to download a video on Winmx or Kazaa. So I guess Britney's ppl have no problem with Winmx or Kazaa seeing as they never complained about the free media thats being downloaded on those p2p networks. But they complained about free media on a site that a fan of hers took a lot of time to make. I feel bad for the fan who made that site. It probably took them a while to make that site only to have it shut down months later. Maybe they can open it up again and just have the pics on there. Oh yeah what about the other websites that have free media? I don't see them complaining about the other sites.

damn i really liked the site, because i live in germany and i dont get to see everything on tv what britney is doing. :(

Ok guys this is the biggest favour I have done for The Britney Fans!

By the end of December a new website like gobritney.com will open and will have all the videos and britney appearances

I talked to ERIC and he said he will support me and he will put a link to gobritney.com that a new media site is coming late december

David said he will help me with the capping as much as he can
Joey I didnt talk to yet

The new site will be BritneyMedia.Net and it will OPEN late December! I am so happy! Cuz we are getting a new media site!
