My friend is leaving for NYC tomorrow and I ran out of money at American Eagle while we were in the mall. Well, I called and asked my mom if I could borrow about $10 to eat tonight with her and some friends since it's her last night here, and my mom said no and I got pissed. So I was in a bad mood... I couldn't help it. Now I told my friend that I wasn't going to go tonight and do anything cuz I'm in a bad mood and stuff and she was all bitchy and stuff and acted like she didn't want me to go. And now I talked to some of the other people going and they don't want to go anymore because I'm not going. So nobody is going to see her tonight, ROTFL, and now I feel really bad. uh oh :cry:

I was thinking today that it was very smart of her to go to country, because if she would have went to do the pop thing and try to become the new Jessica Simpson or somethin... she would be nowhere right now. actually i do consider it Pop Idol lol.. that's the name of the original show, it was really just changed to differentiate it from the UK version, so it's American Idol here, but it's still in my eyes looking for a pop artist

that's why i get annoyed when the judges allow the hard rock people and old time Frank Sinatra type singers through.. because for one it's not really fair to them, it's hard to compare and compete in a comp with mostly pop/r&b singers.. and plus it takes up a spot from someone else who is a pop/r&b singer, it's like a waste because you know those rock or whatever people most likely aren't gonna win it.. so it's stupid lol

I think the only two successful winners are Kelly and Fantasia. There's no denying Kelly has major mainstream success. But I hate when people down Fantasia success and popularity. She is HUGE with the Christian audience and doesn't even have Christian material out. Her audience is ginormous and, believe it or not, she's a music industry favorite. But it never shows in sales. I hope J Records lets her release Gospel material...cause they would bank serious $$$.

Carrie is doing well. But I have a strong feeling it'll die down. Her voice is great and she is beautiful. Other than that...there is nothing there. I hope Vonzell has a successful career in the future....because it's really dead now. And that's a shame because she's is so talented.
