AARON CARTER, teen pop sensation and younger brother of "Backstreet Boy" NICK CARTER, has officially severed personal and professional ties with his mother, JANE CARTER, claiming she caused him certain financial discrepancies. Jane, together with Aaron's father ROBERT, has co-managed her 16-year-old son's career for the past decade. In an official statement from Aaron's publicist, the singer stated, "I feel betrayed by my own mother," adding, "All these problems started when she booted my dad. I worked hard for months ... and I come home and owe money!" Aaron has moved in full-time with his father and is currently seeking new representation to co-manage his career with Robert.

If it's on ET things are usually correct. They usually dont have rumors on their show. They interview themselves for things like this.

They did mention it on ET tonight, just a brief mention though. I didnt' see it so I don't know the details(my friend saw it) Basically w/e was said on the site is what was mentioned.

Radio station Mix 98.5 out of Boston picked up the story and reported it this morning during drive time. They even went as far as to say that Aaron "divorced" his mother. It sounds similar to the Macauley Caulkin and LeAnn Rimes cases. Now Jane's "popstar bootcamp" sounds even more like a desperate attempt to finance her lifestyle -she must have seen the writing on the wall. It's sad for the family, but I'm glad Aaron is back with Bob, Nick etc. I thought Aaron didn't look all that great during the Macy's parade performance, but didn't want to say anything. It looked like he wasn't really happy. Hopefully things will move on now for Aaron and the rest of the family and they can get some of the $$ back. It can't be easy though.

I hate to be the one to rain on your parade...and for those of you who are quick to judge...it's time for the truth to come forth. All of this is going to be coming out and you may be shocked. You don't know the whole story at all. You are only hearing what Bob Carter wants you to hear and believe....I have known this for quite some time and I'm going to tell you now that Bob is NOT the person you may think he is. Robert Gene Carter abused his wife for 24 years--physically, verbally, and emotionally. He also abused all of his kids. Bob has given his kids drugS (I can tell you the kind they are if you want to know) as well as to other kids and he IS the person that embezzled the finances. Bob has a hold on his kids you wouldn't believe. So there you have part of the story. There's more to come...oh yes more to come. Bottom line....please pray for those kids. They don't need to be with their dad.

well two different stories, and I have met Jane and she seems to be the one that is causing the problems those kids are smart, and I am sure old enough to make decisions on their own... I mean Nick is 23 and he is with his dad.... Yes, Jane is comming out with a book, but that will be her biased opinion just like yours. She is desperate for money... that is sad.

I am in college for teaching, and all kids are trained to report abuse.... and I mean I am not one to really talk on here, get in fights, or whatever.... hardly believe people on the internet... there is proof for Bob and none for Jane.... Everyone knew that is what Jane's book was going to be about. I am sorry but unless you are reliable source and can prove that I am not listening to rumors. And Nick did the same thing, cut off his mom, that leads me to believe Aaron is a smart kid and makes decisions on his own. I am breaking into show biz and was warned bout people and she seems like one of those people

i totally agree with heythere05! If Bob is the bad guy here, why do all the kids wanna stay with him instead of Jane? We don't know what's going on in the carter compound and their private lifes but if all the kids decide to stay with Bob instead of going with Jane that has to mean something right

I've heard from many different sources. Its true and not a rumor. Its so sad that His mother would steal money from him or what ever and have him think everythign is okay and then find out that she did that. I would be so mad. I feel bad for him. Hes losing his mother to her selfishness.

I'm proud of Aaron! Hes sticking up for what he knows and what he believes in. They raised him well and he knows whos treating him unfairly and his own mother was one of them. I give him props! That took guts and its only going to make him stronger. I hope everythign is okay with that family!

Get your info straight hun..>Angel herself said that Bob NEVER hit Jane. And, Honestly....From certain people who I know who have seen Aaron during his tour over the summer have told me they've seen him doing things he shouldn't be doing (ie: drugs, etc)...and that was when he was with Jane. He was not allowed around Bob and his siblings at that point. Not so great parenting there I would say...I'm not makin any accusations or anything though, I'm just sayin...dont say things that aren't true, cause Angel even said Bob never did that. If he was actin the way you say he is, the kids would not be CHOOSING to live with him. Coming from a divorced family, you DO have the right to choose...so it's not being forced.

Yes, and for a while, I believed Bob was an excellent parent, because all I knew was what any of the kids told me...bad stories about Jane, etc. And I was living with Bob and saw him as basically..my father, or guardian, I believed it. I experienced the wrath of all that B.S. while I lived there, Jane cares a lot about those kids, both of them do, but judging from what I saw, it's just a big mess on either side. Jane had PI's on the kids (Aaron, Angel, Leslie) and their friends (including me while I was living with them) to make sure her kids were in stable hands and her conclusions are very correct about the situation down there. You all will hear more in the upcoming months I'm sure.

Well a lot of kids Aarons age does drugs, and drink and stuff like that. In my highschool everyone drinks. I know its bad and all. Is it the truth though or is this passed down info/rumor that someone heard?

One question, does someone actually become an expert just because they spend time with the Carter's or think they know them really well at all by heresay? Let's face the facts, we don't know the whole truth so let it go or if you have some positive advice, like being a good influence on the subject of situations this family maybe going through then so gladly speak. Same here. Its almost as if they are a part of my family. I mean some ppl just dont understand. I've been a fan so long and I've read every interview and everythign and i've even met him. I feel like know him and i care for him. I dont care if the ppl that know him say its like impossible or what not b/c it is. I know hes a sweetheart and i know he has a great head onhis shoulders. I know he will get far in life.

When i read about this whole thing, my stomach like dropped. I couldnt believe it. I was just sitting here in disbelief. I didnt think this would all end up like this. It so sad and knowing that Aaron is part of this makes me even more sad. I swear I've cried over this for the kids sake. No child should go through this and the fact that it is so public hurts me even more. I cant believe it

You know i don't really care what others say about what i feel. If it can be or can't be! I know for a fact what i feel!
First it starts with hey i like his music, then you hear a couple of songs and then its like wow he's really talented and before you know it you buy all his cd's and are on the internet trying to find out as much as possible.
Then you get to a stage when you can look at their faces and say hey, he's lying or he's not feeling well at the moment. You just understand the body language of that person. Just because you've seen soo many video's, apperiances that you can actually see what is going on.

I havent been around 4 awhile and I just wanted to post some things to this...everyone is saying "Oh aaron doesnt drink or do drugs" well I mean how do u guys know? You know some people might not want to belive bad things such as him doing that or whatever but he's human sometimes a person isn't how they are portried (SP) If he does those things it's his own business, and ya know if BOb let's him do that, its his choice everyone raises their children different, if he said "OH no you cant do that" like he or any kid is gonna listen they are gonna wanna do it more but anyway ok that's all I had to add
