Yea! I cant believe how bad its getting. I think they need to stop this petty fighting and settle it all. Its just hurting the kids. They need to stop thinking about themselves and the best interests of the kids

I agree. I dont understand why they want to get their kids involved in their problems. Yea they are a family but none of the kids want to be part of it and its just tearing the family apart and making things worse. I think they need to stop getting the public involved. I dont understand why they can work it out together alone and stop bad mouthign each other. At one point they all loved each other and were one big h appy family.

Ummmm- am I the only person who saw the whole "I met someone at a boat race in September in Alabama" thing?? And they're already engaged?? I'm all for a happy Bob, cause a happy Bob helps make happy Carter kids...but my step-mom moved in while my parents were still divorcing, and it did not help things at all (well, for my dad maybe..). My mom freaked, and it was incredibly uncomfortable for me and my brother, my parents had been married for 18 yrs, we didn't know anything different.
All I'm saying is this sure seems hard enough w/the media and public bashing and all- give the kids some time to heal and adjust :(

Yeah, like the saying goes "Never regret what you've done because at one time it was what you wanted." And that is so true. People change, but there's no reason for Bob and Jane to drag the kids through even more turmoil and hash out a bunch of irrelevent bashing comments on each other, because all of that is out of anger. At one point, they loved each other...and I think out of the respect and love that they have for their kids due to that love they had for each other at one point, they should be respectful enough to keep the problems between themselves. The reason divorces get as messy as they do a lot of the time (not all the time) is because the kids get dragged through the mess, and that always multiplies the hard feelings. Nick, BJ, Leslie, Angel and Aaron all need to be able to still talk and see one another, and still feel comfortable loving one another, rather than feeling like they can't be close because of their differences in opinions on the situation with their parents. The parents really need to refrain from trying to brainwash all of them.

I think there always was problems we just didn't know and everyone was like oh look the perfect family but they're not as perfect as we all thought . . . . I just don't know what to say anymore about this ever since Nick was on the MTV One on One thing like 2 years ago and talked about how his relationship with his mom was rocky . . . . . . it really does make me feel sad for them because it's so true what everyone says, you can have everything money can buy, but not have what really matters . . . .
