View Full Version : 'With You' set to debut on Billboard Hot 100

After radios lackluster response to previous singles 'A Little Bit' and 'Sweetest Sin', look for Jessica to return to the Billboard Hot 100 this week with her new single 'With You', which has been steadily gaining on spins for weeks now and has become Jessica's biggest hit since 'Irresistible' was a smash in 2001.

The album 'In This Skin' currently sits at No.96 on the Billboard top 200 albums, look for sales to increase their due to Christmas.

wooooo hooo, its about time!

Hopefully that means there will be another single from the album and the stupid record company won't give up on this like Irresistible.

Yeah, I really hope they release a third single because this album hasn't reached its full potential yet. I heard that Jessica and Nick are releasing a duet album - I hope they don't cut this project short in favour of that. This album could go platinum if the right 3rd single is chosen.

Just that if you look at the number of audience impressions the track has made at radio (this is what the Hot 100 is based on), you can see that it has gained enough to debut on the hot 100.

Oh, o.k. what do you think she will debut at? Without a commercial single being released it will be hard to reach #1.

I'm not really sure where she'll chart. Don't expect her to peak that high though. Whilst 'I Wanna Love You Forever' was a hit at adult contemporary radio, and 'Irresistible' was at Rythmic (and the So So Def Remix even recieved Urban airplay), 'With You' doesn't really appeal to any other formats aside from pop.

However, don't be disappointed, because the album seems to be holding its own and Sony hasn't really tried to release 'With You' to other formats - in other words, the single is definitely doing its job. That Jessica is still recieving radio support is a relief in itself, after several failed singles.

according to billboard her album went up to #90 not 96 ;)

Oh yeah, it was last week that it went to 96.

The Jump to 90 is excellent news, sales are increasing again, this is such good news for Jessica!

YAY!!! From what I can tell she sold about 25,000 copies of In This Skin last week. Not too shabby.
